Whether you're lab tech, engineer, sales, marketing, or customer support, you'll have a seat at the table as they work to increase transparency in the food system.

## Role Overview

As an early software engineer, you will be instrumental in building out the software platform to manage all lab testing. You'll have agency to design and implement a modern software platform to help some of the world's most impactful brands manage lab testing and compliance.

## Responsibilities

- Build a modern SaaS platform to help CPG brands and manufacturers manage lab testing and compliance
- Play a critical role from the start, working alongside the founding engineer and customers to build and refine the platform
- Leverage your expertise in systems architecture to evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed decisions
- Implement security best practices to safeguard data and application integrity

## Requirements

- Experienced full stack engineer (4+ YOE) with strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, Tailwind CSS, and PostgreSQL
- Bias to action - this is early stage 0 to 1 execution
- Bonus points if you're comfortable with UI/UX best practices and working closely with design teams
- Mission alignment is critical: looking for folks who are excited about bringing transparency to our food system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of seeing the big picture and solving problems autonomously
- Previous experience in a developer role in high growth startups

Salaray Range 60-110K USD annually

As a senior engineer, you'll jump right into meaningful, self-directed work—taking ownership over architecture decisions, implementing critical features, and helping shape the product from the outset.
