## Job description

## About the Role

We are seeking a board-certified Breast Radiologist to join a high-performing hospital in Ukiah, California. This is a unique opportunity to join a technology-forward, physician-led practice where clinical quality is our paramount priority. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the breast imaging program at Ukiah and supporting regional growth across a high-performing hospital network.

FTE flexibility from 0.5 FTE up to 1.0 FTE is available for the right candidate.

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

- Procedure Focus: This role involves a full suite of on-site breast procedures, including:
- Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy with localization device placement
- Mammographic-guided breast biopsy with localization device placement
- Ultrasound-guided breast cyst aspiration
- Clinical Leadership: You will play a key role in clinical leadership, defining standards and optimizing workflows
- Cross-site Coverage: Occasional cross-coverage within the network as needed

Position Details

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. (Reduced schedule may be available.)
- Compensation: $500,000+ for the full-time position; part-time scaled proportionally
- Location: Onsite or hybrid, hospital setting in Ukiah, CA (Mendocino County)
- Call Expectations: None
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice coverage, credentialing support, and administrative infrastructure
- Time Off: 10 weeks of paid time off per year for the Full Time position (42 weeks on-site)
- Other: Occasional cross-site coverage in the region may be needed

## Qualifications

- Board-certified (ABR or ABOR) Radiologist
- Breast radiology fellowship training required
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in California
- Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape the local imaging program
