Te Tūranga – About the role As our Group Accounting Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and financial control activities across Foodies. Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, you'll provide day-to-day leadership within the Group Accounting team while partnering across Finance and the wider business to provide accounting guidance and strengthen our ways of working. You’ll also be working across: Owning the end-to-end month end process including consolidated group reporting Owning the day-to-day delivery of Group Accounting activities Maintaining general ledger and balance sheet integrity Leading the half year and annual statutory reporting and external audit activities Applying NZ IFRS and providing accounting guidance Driving process improvement, standardisation and automation Leveraging SAP and finance systems to improve efficiency and reporting Coaching and supporting the Group Accounting team You'll ensure business initiatives are translated into sustainable financial processes, maintain robust controls and reconciliations, oversee the integrity of the general ledger, and partner closely with Finance stakeholders to identify and resolve process issues.
