You'll create a welcoming, inclusive environment where participants of all experience levels feel supported, challenged, and inspired. What You’re Responsible For: - Group Programming: Lead engaging, high-quality yoga classes ranging from slow flow to power flow for a diverse corporate membership population. Deliver safe, well-structured classes that accommodate varying fitness levels, abilities, and yoga experience while fostering participation, wellness, and community. - Five-Star Hospitality Service: Create an exceptional participant experience by preparing the class space in advance, ensuring equipment is set up, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment before, during, and after each class. Anticipate participant needs and focus on the details that elevate the overall experience. - Tenant Satisfaction & Engagement: Build positive relationships with participants and actively engage with members to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Help drive class attendance, satisfaction, and ongoing participation through approachable instruction and community-building. - Independent Instruction: Comfortably teach in a corporate setting with varying spaces, equipment, and class setups. Work independently with limited on-site supervision while maintaining a high standard of instruction, professionalism, and reliability. Baseline Requirements: - You have 1+ years of experience teaching group Yoga, Pilates, and/or Sculpt classes in a fitness center or studio environment. - Experience in the corporate fitness or wellness industry is preferred. Key Competencies: - Customer-Centric: In previous roles, you have exceeded what customers expected of you, you have an innate hospitality mindset and are happiest when you are serving others. - Hyper-organized ball juggler: You stay extremely organized and are constantly reprioritizing your own work because it’s what makes you most effective.  Everyone refers to you as a stellar multi-tasker. - Stellar Communication: You are known for clearly communicating your points - whether in email or verbally.  In this role you’ll be communicating a lot about bookings (both coordinating them and confirming), sending vendor communications, and engaging with different levels of tenants (office managers to C-Suite). ## About Playbook ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Playbook (formerly Lulafit) transforms commercial office buildings into hospitality-driven, wellness-focused hubs through a full-service platform blending placemaking, advisory, operations, and technology. - **Entity Type**: Private (Privately held, no funding rounds disclosed) - **Headquarters**: Chicago, Illinois, United States - **Founded**: 2014 (originally as Lulafit, rebranded to Playbook) - **Founders**: Colleen Werner (Founder & CEO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Commercial Real Estate / Workplace Hospitality - **Target customers**: B2B – Commercial real estate owners, asset managers, and property operators - **Mission statement**: “Create thriving hubs of connection, wellbeing, and productivity” through hospitality and amenities in commercial real estate. ## Products & Services - **Playbook OS**: A proprietary operating system that powers hospitality operations, tenant experience, and data-driven insights for office assets. - **Placemaking & Advisory**: Strategy consulting to reimagine office assets as high-performance, branded environments. - **Full-Service Operations**: From staffing (concierge, fitness instructors, event coordinators) to day-to-day management of amenities like fitness centers, rooftop terraces, conferencing, social clubs, F&B, and public events. - **White-Labeled Delivery**: Delivers hospitality experiences under the client’s brand, not Playbook’s. ## Market Standing - **Valuation / Market Cap**: Not publicly available (privately held) - **Key Metric**: Annual Revenue $5M–$25M (estimated); 93 employees (+20.2% YoY growth) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Not disclosed; the company states it is “fiercely independent” and not PE-owned. - **Growth Signals**: 20%+ headcount growth year-over-year; expanding national platforms with top owners; opened “The Factory,” a 30,000 sq ft immersive wellness hub in Chicago; 64% of owners test amenity build-outs + tenant tech (2024 data). ## Competitive Advantages - **Full-Service Integration**: Combines strategy, staffing, technology, and operations under one roof – unlike fragmented vendors. - **Custom-Built IP**: Playbook OS is a proprietary platform tailored to each asset, not a templated solution. - **White-Labeled Approach**: Elevates the client’s brand, making Playbook an invisible partner that builds loyalty for the building owner. - **Agility & Independence**: Privately held, boutique team that can move faster than PE-owned competitors. ## Strategic Focus - **National Scale**: Expanding portfolio-experience platforms across major US markets. - **Branded Ecosystems**: Moving from single amenities to full branded ecosystems powered by data and hospitality. - **Operational Technology**: Deepening the Playbook OS to deliver personal, valuable experiences and drive asset performance. ## Why Work Here - **Culture & Values**: High employee rating (4.5/5 on LinkedIn, based on 58 reviews) with strong scores in culture (4.6) and career (4.4).
