We raised a [$25M Series A from Lightspeed](https://lsvp.com/stories/investing-in-composio-building-the-backbone-of-ai-agent-intelligence/) with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Beginning of this year we 3x our ARR, our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more. Our product is used by prosumers (MCP / CLI), developers (SDK), and enterprises. The job of the growth team is to increase usage and revenue across all three products. We accomplish this with a ruthless focus on analytics to inform the products we ship, features we highlight, and leads we hand off to sales. We're looking to hire a talented engineer who is as comfortable in SQL as they are in nextJS - someone who's excited to own the analytics foundations of the company and use it to drive our next phase of growth. What you'll do? - Own our data foundation. Build and run the data lake and analytics stack that ties together all three products - MCP/CLI, SDK, and enterprise. You'll own Snowflake end to end: building pipelines, modeling clean generated tables, keeping the data trustworthy, and being the person who can answer the questions nobody else can. - Turn behavior into decisions. Dig into how people actually use Composio, chase down the trickiest analytics questions, and translate what you find into roadmap calls - what to double down on, what to kill, and what deserves the next bet. This work directly guides where product invests. - Build the product-led sales engine. Instrument our funnels and flag PLS signals into Snowflake so consumer and developer usage becomes a clean, agile handoff to sales. Connecting a prosumer's MCP usage or a developer's SDK adoption to the right enterprise conversation is core to how we grow. - Ship growth features in the product. You're as comfortable in Next.js as in SQL. You'll build in-product upsells, sharpen onboarding and ship new onboarding flows, and drive in-app actions like booking a sales meeting - without ever making it feel bolted on. The experience stays delightful. - Own activation and retention. Run email activation and reactivation campaigns, close funnel gaps, and take these problems from goal to shipped without waiting for a PM to turn them into tickets. - Scope ruthlessly. Ship the narrow, signal-generating version today, read the data, then either kill the idea or build it properly. - Work across the company. Partner with product, sales, marketing, and engineering to turn distribution ideas into shipped product. ## What we're looking for The data instinct is the part that's hard to teach. Strong engineers can round out the rest quickly, so we weight it accordingly. - Data fluency (non-negotiable). You write SQL fluently, are at home living in a warehouse like Snowflake, and can model data, stand up tracking, build dashboards, and reason clearly from messy funnel data. You're genuinely curious about user behavior and driven to answer the hardest questions. This is the heart of the role. - Strong engineer. You ship polished frontend and backend systems and context-switch across codebases without losing speed. If your product-engineering chops are still catching up to your data ability, that's fine - we'd rather hire a great data mind who's hungry to round out the full stack than the reverse. - Growth taste. You know the difference between a cheap experiment and a sloppy product, and you'd rather ship a narrow signal-generating version today than a perfect unknown next week. - AI-native. You build with LLMs and keep up with what's happening in the ecosystem. - Owner. You take a goal, decide what to build, ship it, measure whether it worked, and flex across all of the above. - Human. You build trust and admit what you don't know. Strong preference for - Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable warehouse) in production — modeling, pipelines, and performance - Fluency with Next.js and modern full-stack web development - Prior growth or product engineering at a startup Bonus points - You've built something that got real traction - A presence in the AI community through open source, writing, or building in public - Interest in owning performance marketing and media mix modeling — measuring and disentangling what's actually driving growth across channels ## About Composio ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Composio provides the infrastructure for AI agents to seamlessly integrate with 250+ tools, enabling agentic actions, managed authentication, and evolving tool skills through collective learning. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Soham Ganatra, Karan Vaidya ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: AI Agent Infrastructure, Developer Tools, LLM Operations (LLMOps), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) - **Target customers**: B2B – developers building AI agents, enterprise teams deploying LLM-based workflows, and companies needing secure, scalable tool integrations for autonomous agents - **Mission or purpose**: “Build infrastructure that enables AI agents to evolve – turning static tools into systems with genuine intuition, where every interaction makes the entire ecosystem smarter.” ## Products & Services - **Composio Platform**: A SaaS/API platform that provides managed OAuth, sandboxed execution environments, context-aware sessions, tool search, and triggers. It allows AI agents to connect to 250+ apps (CRMs, HRMs, ticketing, productivity, etc.) with zero setup and supports multiple AI frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Gemini, etc.). - **Rube (MCP Server)**: A Model Context Protocol server that connects AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code) to 500+ apps like Slack, GitHub, and Notion, enabling real actions via natural language. - **SDKs (Python & TypeScript)**: Open-source SDKs for building custom agent integrations, with full type safety and support for both Node.js and browser environments. - **Managed Auth**: End-to-end OAuth handling, token refresh, lifecycle management, and granular permission scoping – all inline and triggered by user intent. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly available - **Key Metric**: Total Funding – $29M (Series A announced July 2025, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners; seed round led by Together Fund) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Lightspeed Venture Partners (lead Series A), Together Fund (lead seed), plus 11 other investors in the Series A round - **Growth Signals**: 52 employees (+151.9% YoY), 14,326 LinkedIn followers (+221.8% YoY), 991k monthly website visits (+35.1% YoY), 29k+ GitHub stars, 70+ contributors, 19 active job postings (postings up 58.3% monthly), offices in San Francisco, India, Canada, Nepal, and Colombia ## Competitive Advantages - **Model & Framework Agnostic**: Works with all major AI providers and SDKs – no lock-in; tools and auth carry over when switching models. - **Managed Auth at Scale**: Fully managed OAuth for every connector, with just-in-time, scoped permissions – eliminates the biggest integration barrier for enterprise LLM deployment. - **Sandboxed Execution**: Remote ephemeral sandboxes where tools run as code; results stored on a navigable filesystem for agent browsing. - **Collective Learning Infrastructure**: Agents share learned heuristics and optimal workflows across the platform – “one agent’s experience improves every agent.” - **Security & Compliance**: SOC2 Type II certified, ISO 27001:2022 compliant, with fine-grained data access controls and enterprise-grade safety. ## Strategic Focus - **Current priorities**: Building the “shared learning infrastructure” for AI agents – enabling agents to evolve from static tools into systems that learn from experience. Key areas include capturing tacit knowledge from millions of interactions, turning edge cases into intuition, and making skills evolve with usage. - **Direction for growth**: Expanding enterprise adoption, deepening integrations (1000+ toolkits), and scaling the platform to support multi-agent ecosystems with real-time learning. ## Why Work Here - **Culture highlights**: The team is building infrastructure that “shapes AI’s future” and solving hard, unsolved problems in distributed self-improving systems. Emphasis on elegance, autonomy, and collective intelligence. - **Remote/hybrid/office policy**: Not explicitly defined, but HQ is in San Francisco with offices in the US, India, Canada, Nepal, and Colombia. Hybrid/remote likely depending on role. - **Notable perks or engineering culture**: Engineers work on cutting-edge LLM infrastructure, distributed systems, and developer tools. The blog highlights a focus on “hard problems no one’s cracked yet” and a commitment to creating “systems that feel magical.” Open roles include Member of Technical Staff (Research Engineer, Product Eng, Enterprise Platform), Growth Engineer, and Founding BDR – indicating a fast-scaling, high-impact environment. ## Sources 1.
