What started as a better way to take notes has become a shared workspace that helps teams capture, organize, and act on what matters. We're building a product people genuinely love and are fortunate to work with many of the world's most ambitious companies. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a GTM Systems Lead to build the systems and data foundation that Sales, CS and leadership run on. ## About the Role We’re hiring a GTM Systems Lead to own the technology behind Granola’s commercial team as we scale. You’ll design, build and run the systems our Sales and CS teams rely on. Our current stack has served us well, but it needs to evolve as the team grows. You’ll take responsibility for how the tools fit together, what we build versus buy, and how information flows between them. This is a hands-on role. You’ll set the direction of the stack and implement the technical changes that make it work. You’ll work closely with Sales, CS and Data, and report to the Head of RevOps. You won’t be limited to administering a CRM or building isolated automations: you’ll own how the whole system works. ## What You’ll Do - Design and evolve the GTM stack. Decide how our Sales and CS systems should fit together, what to build versus buy, and what to prioritise as we grow. - Own the technical architecture of our CRM, Attio. Shape its data model, objects, workflows and integrations. You’ll be hands-on with configuration, particularly early on, but routine admin won’t be the sole focus of the role. - Build and maintain integrations. Make data flow reliably across Attio and our wider toolset, including Apollo, [Cal.com](http://Cal.com), Tally and Polytomic, and into the data systems used by the wider business. - Own the wider toolset. Assess new tools and vendors, improve or replace what isn’t working, and make sure the stack is useful, reliable and cost-conscious. - Find opportunities for automation and AI. Identify work that could be made easier for Sales and CS, and build or collaborate on solutions where they fit the priorities of the stack. - Keep systems dependable. Troubleshoot problems, establish sensible governance and documentation, and partner with IT on access and security. - Understand how teams work. Get close to Sales and CS workflows so the systems you build solve real problems, not just technical ones. ## What We’re Looking For - Experience designing, building and owning systems used by a growing commercial team. Relevant hands-on experience matters more to us than a particular number of years or experience with a specific CRM. - Sound judgement about system architecture, priorities and build-versus-buy decisions—and the ability to explain those decisions to non-technical colleagues. - Technical depth beyond administering tools: you’ve built integrations and are comfortable working with APIs, webhooks and code. Experience with SQL, Python or JavaScript would be useful. - An understanding of CRM data models, routing, enrichment and the operational work needed to keep data flowing reliably. - A willingness to get into the weeds. You’re comfortable doing the implementation yourself while also thinking about how the stack should develop over time. - Curiosity about AI-powered GTM workflows, with experience building them a plus rather than a prerequisite. - A collaborative, low-ego approach. You can work through messy requests with Sales, CS and Data, challenge assumptions constructively, and ship solutions people can use. - You don’t need to have used Attio or every tool in our stack. We’re more interested in what you’ve built, how you think about systems, and how you’d apply that experience here. ## About the Opportunity We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968 and we want to assemble the best crew to build this future together. Our compensation philosophy is to hire the best people in the market and pay them accordingly with salary, variable, and equity. Lastly, we think amazing talent comes from all kinds of life journeys and experiences. If what is written above speaks to you, whether you look like a fit on paper or not, please reach out. ## About Granola ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Granola is an AI-powered meeting notepad that runs locally on a user’s device, transcribing and generating structured notes from meetings without requiring a visible bot to join the call. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series C) - **Headquarters**: London, United Kingdom - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Chris Pedregal (CEO) and Sam Stephenson (CTO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: AI-powered productivity software, Meeting Intelligence, Enterprise AI Context Layer - **Target customers**: Primarily B2B — serving knowledge workers in sales, legal, executive functions, and enterprise teams. Named customers include Vanta, Gusto, Thumbtack, Asana, Cursor, Lovable, Decagon, and Mistral AI. - **Mission or purpose statement**: "Build tools that help humans better" — the company’s goal is to make meetings more productive without intruding on human connection. ## Products & Services - **Granola (Core Product)**: An AI notepad for back-to-back meetings. It runs locally on macOS and Windows, captures audio from the user’s computer without a bot joining the call, and uses meeting context (calendar, past notes) to generate Notion-style notes, action items, and follow-ups. Available for iPhone as well. - **Granola Chat**: Lets users query their entire conversation history using Claude, GPT, or Gemini. - **Spaces**: Team-oriented feature for organizing, sharing, and searching contextual notes across meetings and channels. - **Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server**: An API layer that allows other AI tools to query Granola’s meeting context, positioning it as a "context layer" for agentic AI workflows. - **Enterprise API**: SSO, SCIM, and consent-based data management for large organizations. The core product is free for unlimited meeting notes (notes older than 30 days require an upgrade). ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: $1.5 billion (Series C, March 2026 — a sixfold increase from its $250 million valuation less than a year prior) - **Total Funding**: Over $192 million ($67M prior to Series C, plus $125M Series C) - **Key Metric**: High engagement and viral growth within companies — product-market fit described as "genuine" by users - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Index Ventures (led Series C), Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed, Betaworks, Firstminute Capital, and angel investors including Mike Krieger (Instagram), David Lieb (YC Partner), Guillermo Rauch (Vercel), Amjad Masad (Replit), Tobi Lutke (Shopify), Karri Saarinen (Linear), Lenny Rachitsky (Lenny's Newsletter), Des Traynor (Intercom), Soleio, and Charlie Songhurst. - **Growth Signals**: Rapid valuation growth (6x in under a year), explicit enterprise pivot with a robust API, MCP server, and large named enterprise customer base. ## Competitive Advantages - **Stealth recording (no bot)**: Granola is the only major meeting intelligence tool that captures audio from the user’s computer rather than sending a visible bot into the call — a key differentiator for professionals who find bots intrusive. - **Context-layer strategy**: By offering an MCP server and APIs, Granola positions itself as a cross-platform "memory" for all AI agents and tools, rather than a siloed note-taking app. - **High user love & viral growth**: Users report genuine product-market fit, with the product spreading virally within companies. - **Strong design and product thinking**: Founded by a design-led team in London, with deep experience in product and engineering. ## Strategic Focus - **Enterprise expansion**: The $125M Series C is explicitly earmarked for building out enterprise features (SSO, SCIM, consent-based data management) and winning large organizations. - **Agentic AI integration**: Granola is investing heavily in becoming the "context layer" for other AI tools — its MCP server and APIs allow any agent to query meeting history, making it a critical data infrastructure play. - **Growth in London & US**: Hiring across Engineering, Design, Sales, and Operations in both London and San Francisco — building out a US revenue team. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Small, tight-knit in-person team (~50 employees as of early 2026) with total ownership over your area of the product. Described as "high trust" with visionary founders. Office is beautiful, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided daily. - **Remote/Hybrid Policy**: Office-first with flexibility built in — 5 days in office by default, but flexible for life circumstances. Remote up to four weeks a year. - **Notable Perks**: - Health Insurance (AXA for UK family; Aetna/Kaiser for US with dental & vision) - 20 weeks primary / 12 weeks secondary parental leave (fully paid) - 401(k) 100% match on first 3% of salary (US); 7% matching via Penfold (UK) - Daily fresh lunch (office) - Gym Boost: monthly contribution toward gym membership - L&D Budget: annual budget for courses, books, conferences - Life Insurance: 4x salary (UK); 2x up to $750k (US) - Income Protection: 75% salary (UK); 60% up to $12k/month (US) - Time Off: 25 days + bank holidays (UK); Unlimited PTO (US) - Commuter Benefits: tax-free bike purchase (UK); pre-tax transit/parking (US) - "Casa Granola" team getaway house in Majorca for offsites/deep work. - **Engineering Culture**: AI-heavy, product-engineering focus. Roles include AI Engineer, Product Engineers (Backend, Full Stack, Windows), Design Engineer, and Security Engineer. Engineers work directly with co-founders on roadmap. ## Sources 1.
