What you'll need to get the job done - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunication, or a related discipline. - Experience in military or avionics hardware development, including knowledge of MIL-STD design practices and/or MIL-STD-461 or DO-160 Sections 17–23 for EMC/EMI qualification. - Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including power supplies, signal conditioning, ADC/DAC conversion, and sensors. - Proficiency with microcontrollers, memory interfaces, and embedded hardware architecture. - Experience with high-speed interfaces and serial communication protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, PCIe, etc. - Ability to capture schematics, review datasheets, and work collaboratively with engineers across disciplines. - Competence in EMC/EMI testing, troubleshooting, and implementing design-level mitigations (filters, shielding, grounding strategies). - Familiarity with constraints management and coordinating PCB layout activities to ensure electrical and mechanical performance. - Hands-on experience using standard lab equipment and Designer Verification techniques. - Ability to drive issues to closure, work methodically, and participate in structured design and technical reviews.
