In this role, you will bring your deep experience in electronic hardware design and early-stage product development, rapidly building functional prototypes, shaping technical direction, and influencing product strategy from concept through launch. We are looking for someone that is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and engaging directly on customer projects. You will also have software and/or systems engineering fluency and will play an important role helping define and evolve DISHER's electronics strategy to best serve client needs. What you will get to do: - Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to support full product development. - Lead the design, development and validation of electronic hardware systems, including circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection. - Build, prototype, debug, and document hardware designs for new product development. - Apply electrical engineering principles such as circuit analysis, modeling, thermal management, and EMC considerations. - Engage with customers on-site, providing technical leadership and building strong relationships. - Lead hardware design reviews and guide technical decision-making across projects. - Develop and execute test strategies, including pre-compliance and validation testing at certified labs. - Estimate technical tasks, timelines, and project scope for customer engagements. - Contribute to and improve internal engineering tools, processes, and best practices. - Support business development through technical input on proposals and customer discussions. - Mentor engineers and contribute to developing team capabilities and consulting excellence.
