We're proud to be a Living Wage accredited Employer. ## What You'll Do The Warsaw team is CoreWeave's EMEA hub for Hardware Compute, with a primary focus on CoreWeave Omni—our model for deploying and operating the CoreWeave Cloud Platform inside customer- and partner-owned data centres. In an Omni deployment, the customer owns the facility and the physical hardware while CoreWeave delivers and operates the platform and managed services around it, making thermal design, CDU integration, and cooling telemetry first-class engineering challenges across diverse facility water loops and vendor configurations. ## About the role As a Hardware Engineer, Liquid Cooling, you will own liquid cooling infrastructure from the rack to the facility interface, balancing hands-on engineering with operational support. You will automate the liquid cooling hardware lifecycle, develop hardware/firmware management services, and build monitoring, alerting, and control systems for pumps, valves, and flow/temperature sensors. Working closely with data centre facilities teams, server OEMs, and cooling vendors, you will qualify new platforms, resolve RMA and quality issues, and troubleshoot live production thermal events down to root cause. Additionally, you will serve as the regional escalation point across EMEA and APAC, participate in an on-call rotation, and feed operational insights back into platform automation and design improvements. ## Who You Are - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - 4+ years of professional experience in hardware, infrastructure, thermal, or platform engineering roles in data centre, cloud, or high-performance computing environments. - Hands-on experience with in-rack CDUs (Coolant Distribution Units), liquid-to-air heat exchangers, or remote cooling units. - Strong understanding of data centre thermal design principles, coolant types, thermal transfer mechanisms, and leak detection methods. - In-depth knowledge of server hardware, components, and fleet management technologies. - Proficiency in Python or Ansible, with experience programmatically interacting with hardware using Redfish, IPMI, or SSH (Redfish preferred). - Demonstrated experience supporting production infrastructure, driving incident escalations through to root-cause resolution, and participating in on-call rotations. - Excellent technical documentation, analytical problem-solving skills, and fluency in written and spoken English. Preferred: - Experience bringing up new data centre regions or operating within customer/partner-owned facility infrastructure. - Familiarity with rack-scale liquid-cooled platforms (e.g., NVIDIA GB200 / GB300) and CDU vendor management interfaces. - Experience with BMC technologies, Kubernetes-based services, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). - Familiarity with facility-side systems including chilled water plants, CRAHs, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams—even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. - You love to: Solve problems at the boundary between hardware, software, and physical data centre buildings while automating thermal management workflows. - You're curious about: Uncovering the root cause of complex thermal failures and integrating advanced liquid cooling technologies at scale. - You're an expert in: Data centre thermal dynamics, hardware telemetry, and building reliable monitoring and alerting systems for liquid cooling infrastructure.
