Our platform plans, dispatches and adjusts deliveries for brands like Walmart, 7-Eleven, Ahold Delhaize and Square, and every decision it makes ends with groceries, prescriptions or a dinner order arriving at someone's door. It already dispatches to drones and autonomous vehicles alongside human drivers, through partners like Flytrex and Autolane. Most AI stories play out on a screen. Ours plays out in stores, on streets and at front doors, which makes it more consequential, harder to explain, and a far better story when it's told well. We're backed by a16z and Y Combinator, and a new category is forming around what we do: autonomic logistics, meaning systems that plan, run and improve delivery operations continuously on their own. We're hiring our first Head of Corporate Communications to make sure Nash is the company telling that story. ## The Role You'll own how Nash is understood by everyone outside a sales conversation: press, analysts, our own team, our customers' executives and the wider market. You'll report to our Chief Growth Officer (Twilio, Plaid, Salesforce) and work closely with our CEO on his external voice, alongside a small, senior, fast-moving team. We're not looking for someone to write press releases on request. We want the person who gets the market to understand a category before it has a Magic Quadrant. ## What We're Looking For Editorial judgment. You know the difference between something we'd like to announce and something a reporter wants to write about, and you can find the second inside the first. Business fluency. You understand why a grocer buys from us and what a technical buyer pushes back on, because coverage only matters if it shapes the deals Sales is working next quarter. Composure. When AI makes a mistake in the physical world, someone's groceries arrive late, and that can become a story quickly. When it does, you already have the plan, and the right people already know what to say. AI-native craft. You use Claude to read a reporter's last fifty bylines before you pitch them, to build monitoring that surfaces the three things that matter each morning, and to run a mock hostile interview with our CEO before a launch. Journalists spot AI-written copy instantly, so the research goes deep and what goes out sounds like a person wrote it. ## What You'll Do - Own Nash's corporate narrative across press, analysts, customers, partners and our own team, working alongside Product Marketing, which owns product positioning. - Build our media program across business, technology and trade press, including supply chain, retail, grocery and the growing autonomous delivery beat. - Build analyst relations from scratch, so autonomic logistics becomes a category analysts can describe accurately, with Nash as the reference point. - Prepare our CEO and senior leaders as spokespeople, each with a recognizable voice and a clear point of view. - Own internal communications, so the team hears important news from us before they read it anywhere else. - Turn customer wins into public proof, making sure every figure can survive a reporter asking how it was calculated. - Own issues and crisis management, along with speaking, awards and agency relationships. ## Requirements - 7+ years in communications, with in-house leadership at a high-growth B2B technology company, or senior agency experience and a real appetite to move in-house. - Has built or led an analyst relations program for a complex enterprise platform. - Real relationships with business, technology and trade press, and a track record of placing stories there. - Has prepared C-level executives as spokespeople. - Uses Claude (or an equivalent LLM) as a core part of how you research, prepare and work, well beyond copy editing. - Exceptional writing, strong opinions held loosely, and the discretion to hear everything first. - Bonus: experience on the analyst side, category creation at an infrastructure, logistics or autonomy company, or a public writing presence of your own. - Location: Bay Area (hybrid) or US remote. How to Apply Send your resume, links to coverage or campaigns you've owned, and a short note on the story you're proudest of getting told. Or skip the cover letter and send a Loom of you pitching Nash to a reporter of your choice in under five minutes. Want to skip the queue? More about [Nash](http://Nash.AI) Nash is the platform that powers modern logistics. Commerce has inverted. For decades, customers came to where products and services were. Now products and services come to them, on their terms, in real time. That shift has turned every company into a logistics company, even though almost none of them were built to be one. Couriers, fleets, gig workers, parcel carriers, in-store labor, and increasingly autonomous systems all have to be coordinated in real time, against tighter windows and rising expectations, with hard-fought customer trust on the line. Nash unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform. Real-time, AI-native intelligence determines what should happen, operational control executes it, and the platform dynamically orchestrates capacity from any source: a company's own fleets, partners, or the Nash delivery network. Whether a job involves a courier, a gig driver, an internal fleet, a store employee, a technician, or an autonomous vehicle, Nash selects the right resource and manages execution through completion. We power delivery and logistics for some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, and Woolworths, alongside platforms like Shopify and Toast. Over the next decade, logistics will become as foundational to commerce as payments, cloud, and connectivity. Nash is the platform that powers it. Nash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and is backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are headquartered in San Francisco. ## What You’ll Love About Us ✅ Early-stage, well-funded startup – directly impact the company and grow your career! ✅ Quarterly broader team on-sites to bond with teammates ✅ Competitive compensation and opportunity for equity ✅ Flexible paid time off ✅ Health, dental, and vision insurance for US employees ## About Nash ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Nash provides an autonomic logistics platform that unifies decisioning and execution across fleets, carriers, and fulfillment networks using self-optimizing AI agents. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A backed) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2021 - **Founders**: Mahmoud Ghulman (Co-Founder & CEO), Aziz Alghunaim (Co-Founder & CTO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage - **Target customers**: B2B – Enterprise retailers, grocers, healthcare providers, field services, 3PLs, and distribution companies - **Mission or purpose statement**: "Autonomic Logistics" – continuously planning, optimizing, and self-healing delivery operations to hit business objectives. ## Products & Services - **Nash Platform**: A unified logistics orchestration system that routes drops in real time, manages middle-mile transfers, and coordinates last-mile delivery across gig, 3PL, and own-fleet drivers. - **Nash Context Fabric**: A live model of reality that ingests data from orders, inventory, fleets, providers, customers, and returns to enable autonomic decisioning. - **Vertical Solutions**: Tailored modules for Healthcare (compliance-grade Rx, samples, cold-chain), Retail (same-day, BOPIS, returns), Grocery (cold-chain, batched routes), Field Services (skill-matched dispatch for technicians), Distribution (pallet-level routing, B2B windows), and Restaurants. - **API & Platform**: Embed Nash's decisioning into third-party products via a single API, enabling custom AI agents and bespoke workflows. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (private company) - **Key Metric**: Total Funding – $27.9M across three rounds (Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Andreessen Horowitz (lead in Seed and Series A), Y Combinator, OpenAI; customers include Walmart, 7-Eleven, Woolworths, Loblaws, Alto Pharmacy. - **Growth Signals**: 67 employees (+48.9% YoY); operates in 15 countries; acquired Kosmo (March 2025); 18 active job postings (+200% YoY); 19,780 LinkedIn followers (+25.9% yearly). ## Competitive Advantages - **Autonomic AI agents**: Self-optimizing, self-healing, self-configuring, self-protecting – continuously adapts to real-time disruptions without human intervention. - **Single system of coordination**: Unifies routing, dispatch, fleet management, returns, and support on one platform, resolving the build-versus-buy dilemma. - **Real-time feedback loop**: Code runs against the physical world immediately, providing a tangible, high-impact engineering challenge. - **Enterprise traction**: Trusted by some of the world's largest retailers and grocers, with proven metrics (98.1% OTIF, 2,340 orders/sec, 87 carriers, 12,500 drivers). ## Strategic Focus - **Autonomic Intelligence**: Building the "Logistics Singularity" where the platform holds full context across systems and orchestrates the network toward business objectives continuously. - **Expanding verticals**: Deepening healthcare, grocery, and field service capabilities while entering new geographies (MENA, UK). - **Agentic commerce & autonomous delivery**: Integrating drones, robots, and autonomous vehicles into the orchestration layer. ## Why Work Here - **Impact**: Work shows up in the real world the same day – your code directly improves delivery performance for millions of orders. - **Remote-first**: "We hire great people and trust them to work from anywhere."
