Take a peek at Instagram @burgainsider ## ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Product Engineering to lead our Product Engineering, Testing & Innovation, and Packaging teams. You will own the engineering journey from product concept to a validated, mass-production-ready solution, while building strong teams and setting clear technical standards, priorities, and ways of working. At BURGA, new products and challenges are always around the corner. You will have the opportunity to shape how we engineer and validate products, build our new testing laboratory, work directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners, and have a real impact on the products we bring to market. ## GET READY TO: Lead and develop Product Engineering, Testing & Innovation, and Packaging teams, setting clear responsibilities, priorities, and ways of working; Own the engineering journey from concept to mass production, ensuring products meet technical, quality, and reliability requirements; Drive key technical decisions around product construction, materials, manufacturing technologies, validation, and risks; Build our new testing laboratory - select equipment and develop testing methods, protocols, and validation standards; Solve complex product and manufacturing challenges together with engineers and suppliers; Work directly with suppliers, including visiting manufacturing sites, reviewing technical solutions, and supporting product launches; Build and continuously improve engineering processes, technical specifications, SOPs, and development standards; Grow team capabilities and create an environment where engineers can make strong technical decisions independently. ## WE EXPECT YOU TO: Have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field; Have 3+ years of experience in product engineering, R&D, manufacturing, or physical product development; Have experience leading and developing engineers or technical teams; Have a strong understanding of product construction, materials, manufacturing processes, testing, and validation; Be comfortable reviewing CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications; Be a strong problem solver, able to assess risks and make technical decisions even when not all information is available; Be confident working directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners; Have excellent English skills and thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment. SALARY: 4600-5500 EUR/month gross.
