JOB TITLE: Health Center Assistant LOCATION: St Peter's, MO SUPERVISOR: Health Center Supervisor FLSA: Full-time, Benefits eligible

## COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:

$17.25-$18.70/HR

POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency. ## QUALIFICATIONS:

●       High School Diploma ●       Experience in customer service or health care preferred ●       MA Certification preferred, Phlebotomy a plus ●      Experience with Epic

## SCHEDULE:

●       Monday – Saturday; 40 hours a week, 8-hour shifts

## ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

●       Consistently demonstrate appropriate service behaviors in interactions with patients and colleagues and practices In this Together and Service Standard values ●       Actively contribute to an inclusive workplace culture by working collaboratively as a valued member of the care team ●     Proactively work to resolve conflict and perform service recovery, as needed ●     Administrative duties include answering phones, making appointments, taking messages, transferring records for patients, and ensuring completion of health center records and required forms ●       Perform patient medical and social history intakes and provide education as indicated for the services patients are seeking, as directed by the supervisor/clinician on duty ●       Complete basic lab work and follow procedures as required ●       Provide patients with non-judgmental pregnancy options counseling and make referrals for services based on the patient’s choice ●       Assist licensed medical staff with the delivery of reproductive care as needed ●       Perform all recordkeeping duties related to patient care with accuracy ●       Perform housekeeping and stocking duties as needed ●       Complete HIPAA and OSHA training and other training as required ●       Travel to other health centers within the affiliate as needed
