Our customers are UAV manufacturers and operators who need Osiris flying on their own airframes, quickly and reliably. You are the person who makes that happen. You will take Osiris from a box on a bench to a working, calibrated, flight-tested module on a customer's fixed-wing aircraft. That means handling the mechanical fit, the wiring, the flight controller configuration, and the testing that proves it works. When a unit comes back faulty, you are also the person who finds out why and fixes it. This is a hands-on role. You will spend your time with hardware, a laptop, and a soldering iron, not in a design review. Expect regular travel within Ukraine to customer facilities and test sites. In this role you'll get to: - Integrate Osiris onto customer UAV platforms: mechanical mounting, power, wiring harnesses, and data links to the flight controller. - Configure and tune ArduPilot (and other flight stacks) for correct interoperation with Osiris: MAVLink routing, serial port and telemetry setup, parameter configuration, failsafe behaviour. - Calibrate Osiris units (optical and sensor calibration) and validate system performance on the bench and in flight. - Diagnose and repair faulty units in the field and on the bench: fault finding, cable and connector repair, module replacement, and verification that the unit meets spec afterwards. - Join ground and flight test campaigns and analyse the results on site: pull and review ArduPilot and Osiris logs between flights. - Give the customer and our engineering team clear, immediate feedback during testing, not days later: what worked, what did not, and what is causing it - Diagnose issues down to the root cause, whether that is a loose connector, an EMI problem, a parameter, or a software bug. - Produce test reports after each campaign: what was flown, what the logs show, what failed and why, in a form the customer and our engineers can both use. - Act as the technical point of contact for customer engineering teams: answer questions, train their staff, and write clear integration guides and wiring documentation. - Feed field findings back to our engineering team so the product gets easier to integrate over time. - Prepare and maintain integration kits, cabling, and test equipment. Must have requirements: - Languages: Fluent Ukrainian and working English. You will read English technical documentation daily and communicate with an international engineering team. - ArduPilot: Practical understanding of ArduPilot/PX4. You have configured a flight controller, set parameters, worked with MAVLink, and read a flight log. - Electronics: Solid grasp of practical electronics. Comfortable with schematics, connectors, power distribution, serial interfaces (UART, I²C, SPI, Ethernet), and using a multimeter and oscilloscope to find a fault. - Repair and calibration: Able to calibrate a device against a documented procedure and to repair one when it fails. That means soldering, cable and connector repair, board swaps, and tracing a fault to the part causing it. - Linux: Basic working knowledge. SSH into a device, navigate the filesystem, read logs, edit config files, run scripts. You do not need to be a systems engineer, but the command line should not slow you down. - Log analysis: Able to open a flight log and read it, not just collect it. You can spot a bad sensor, a mis-set parameter, or a control problem from the data, and do it on a laptop in the field between flights, not only back at the office. - Tooling: Confident using AI assistants (Claude, Claude Code) and a modern IDE as part of daily work. You will use them to dig through logs, write throwaway analysis scripts, understand unfamiliar code, and turn field results into readable reports. We expect you to use these tools well, not to work around them. - Methodical, evidence-driven troubleshooting and a habit of documenting what you did. - Willingness to travel to customer sites and field locations within Ukraine. Nice to have: - Hands-on fixed-wing UAV experience: building, repairing, or flying them. - Optics and camera experience: lens selection, focus, distortion, and camera calibration. - Experience with single-board computers (Raspberry Pi, Jetson) and Docker. - Basic Python for test scripting and log analysis (e.g. pymavlink). - CAD or 3D printing for mounts and brackets. - Prior work with defence or industrial customers. ## About Delian We live under a new world order.
