Inbound shipping and customs - Coordinate international shipments with freight forwarders and couriers. - Track shipments end to end and report expected arrival dates to IT and requesters. - Log deliveries against the order; report damage or shortages within the vendor's claim window. Inventory and asset management - Keep the asset register accurate: serial numbers, assignee, location, status and warranty dates. - Run regular stock counts and reconcile them with the register; investigate discrepancies. - Maintain safe, organized storage for hardware, with minimum stock levels for common items. Deployment and lifecycle logistics - Manage handover and return of equipment for joiners, leavers and role changes. - Coordinate secure disposal, recycling or donation of retired equipment, including data-wiping confirmation from IT.
