- The minimum gross monthly base salary for this position for a medior is from € 2,600 and for a senior from € 3,300. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. ## Role Description

- Build tailored Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that keep modern banks running smoothly
- Write and run thorough unit tests to ensure your code is rock solid and reliable
- Share your knowledge and offer practical guidance on implementing best practices
- Own key configuration tasks that ensure our solutions are optimized, stable, and aligned with client needs
- Analyze change requests and defects, and turn them into opportunities to make the system better and more efficient
- This is a long-term opportunity and is not tied to a specific project. Successful candidates will be considered for multiple current and future project opportunities based on their skills and experience

## Skills and Expertise

- Hands-on experience developing RESTful API microservices using Java, Spring, Maven and OpenAPI 3
- Strong understanding of core Java concepts
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate), and Spring Security (OAuth 2.0)
- Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
- Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures
- Familiarity with asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)
- Experience in the digital industry, ideally within banking, insurance, financial services, or management consulting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Front-end development experience with frameworks such as Angular or React is highly valued
