What we’re looking for: 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE backend development and solution architecture Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and API integrations Strong Payments domain experience and understanding of end-to-end payment journeys Proven experience designing scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performance distributed systems Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native solutions Experience defining solution architecture, technical designs, integration patterns, and engineering standards Ability to work closely with Product, Engineering, Mobile (Android/iOS), DevOps, Security, and business teams Ability to provide technical leadership, guide engineering teams, review designs/code, and drive key architecture decisions Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working with senior client and technology stakeholders ⭐ Good to have: Experience architecting solutions supporting Android/iOS mobile applications, including backend services, APIs, authentication, payment integrations, and mobile-to-backend integration patterns.
