These agents handle technology support, customer insights, competitor analysis, reconciliation, sentiment analysis, and drive the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). - **AI-First Enterprise Platform**: A microservices-based platform rebuilt from the ground up for AI-first operations, featuring real-time data pipeline integration, agent performance monitoring, and CI/CD for AI agent deployment. - **Human-Agent Collaboration Interfaces**: Dashboards, agent control panels, and tools that blend human decision-making with AI execution for enterprise customers. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly available (private company) - **Key Metric**: 40+ AI agents executing 10,000+ workflows daily; 87 employees (as of mid-2025) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: The company is bootstrapped. It acts as the technology arm of The Energy Collective (TEC). - **Growth Signals**: The company is actively hiring for senior engineering roles and describes itself as a “scale-up.” It claims to have production AI infrastructure that competitors are still “2-3 years away from.” LinkedIn data shows a -11.4% YoY headcount decline, but the company’s own career page emphasizes rapid growth and a pivot to AI-first operations. ## Competitive Advantages - **Production-Proven AI at Scale**: While many companies are still in the demo/AI tool experimentation phase, energytec.ai has 40+ agents executing 10,000+ workflows daily in real customer environments. - **Full-Stack AI Transformation**: The company has rebuilt its entire business — from development methodology to customer-facing products — around AI-first principles, not just retrofitting AI into legacy systems. - **Speed & Ownership Culture**: Described as having “speed of thought development” with no bureaucracy; engineers own the code they build and have direct customer feedback loops. - **Hidden AI Powerhouse**: Located in East Hyderabad, away from the corporate politics of larger tech hubs, offering world-class AI work with short commutes and flexible policies. ## Strategic Focus - **Current priorities**: Scaling AI agent orchestration across microservices; evolving CI/CD into an “Agentic AI SDLC”; building observability for multi-agent systems; pioneering the “Human-Led, Agent-Operated” business model. - **Direction for growth**: Expanding from energy and telecom retail into broader enterprise retail AI applications; mentoring engineers to become AI-first developers; building the methodologies others will adopt in 2-3 years. ## Why Work Here - **Culture highlights**: Described as a “people-first” company with a focus on flexibility, continuous learning, and innovation. The culture is built on “being yourself, growing together” and viewing mistakes as opportunities for growth. - **Remote/hybrid/office policy**: Flexible working policies; office presence in East Hyderabad (NSIC Business Park) with a short commute focus. - **Notable perks or engineering culture**: Engineers get “complete AI transformation” exposure — they don’t just use AI tools but rebuild the entire business around AI. Direct mentorship from international founders with proven scale-up experience. Engineers build the systems others will copy in 3-5 years. No special “AI team” — everyone does AI. - **Engineering focus**: Full-stack engineers, DevOps/platform engineers, and senior engineers/tech leads are the primary hiring targets. The work involves designing agent networks, building human-AI interfaces, and pioneering AI-first development methodologies. ## Sources 1. [energytec.ai - Official Website](https://energytec.ai/) 2.
