We are looking for a Junior. Art Director with a Social focus for a legacy American clothing and accessories retailer. In this role, you’ll partner with our Creative, Production, and client teams to assist in the full arc of social content — from the spark of an idea to the final frame with an opportunity to be on site, in the action. You'll help art direct, concept, pitch, occasionally shoot, and edit. If the term conceptual digital design and detailed execution resonates, then this role may be for you. Candidates should have: - 1-3+ years proven experience in digital design and art direction, and the ability to create pixel perfect designs while innovating work across a variety of industries - Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners, including design, copy, motion, production, and account partners - Strong client collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to present design work internally and to senior level clients - Mastery in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote, proficiency in Figma and ideally Sketch, additional motion and prototyping software is a plus. - While not required, bonus if you have experience both in-house and with creative agencies. - Edit social footage — short-form video, Reels, TikToks - Experience working on cohesive creative content series concepts that work across multiple social platforms, not just one-off ideas - A passion for staying ahead of platform trends, aesthetic shifts, and cultural moments in fashion and lifestyle — and bring that fluency into every brief We’d like to know that you can: - Create differentiating, modern, on-brand digital design solutions—it’s all about meeting the challenge and then bringing something extra to the table - Communicate and present confidently–speaking to design solutions and describing web interactions clearly to your team and clients - Stay on top of best design practices and technologies, and see opportunities to creatively incorporate industry trends to elevate design and user experience - Embrace an agile design process and set new standards - Be both a team member and a proactive individual contributor - Accept and incorporate constructive feedback into your designs The target range of compensation for this role is $70,000-$85,000.
