Ihre Rolle

In dieser Schlüsselposition übernehmen Sie die Gesamtverantwortung für Financial Controllership, Reporting und Governance innerhalb der deutschen WPP-Gesellschaften. Sie agieren als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen den lokalen Finance Teams, den Market CFOs, den regionalen Finance-Funktionen sowie unseren Shared Service Centern.

Gleichzeitig begleiten Sie die finanzielle Transformation von WPP Deutschland und stellen sicher, dass lokale regulatorische Anforderungen, Governance-Standards und operative Prozesse nachhaltig in die zukünftige Organisationsstruktur integriert werden.

Ihre Aufgaben

Financial Reporting, Governance & Compliance

- Verantwortung für die ordnungsgemäße Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von IFRS-, HGB- und konzerninternen Richtlinien
- Verantwortung für die Qualität und Integrität der Bilanz sowie aller relevanten Finanzdaten
- Steuerung und Begleitung externer Wirtschaftsprüfungen
- Sicherstellung der SOX-Compliance einschließlich Kontrollen, Testierungen und Maßnahmenverfolgung
- Verantwortung für die Konzernkonsolidierung von WPP Deutschland einschließlich Konzernabschluss, Prüfungskoordination und gesetzlicher Offenlegungspflichten

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management

- Strategische Sparringspartner:in für die Market CFOs und das lokale Management
- Analyse finanzieller Ergebnisse sowie Ableitung relevanter Handlungsempfehlungen
- Unterstützung von Budget-, Forecast- und Planungsprozessen
- Ansprechpartner:in für Wirtschaftsprüfer, Behörden und weitere externe Stakeholder
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Tax, Legal, HR und Operations bei finanziellen und regulatorischen Fragestellungen
- Überwachung lokaler Treasury- und Steuerprozesse sowie Sicherstellung der Einhaltung konzernweiter Standards

Leadership & Operational Excellence

- Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung einer Organisation von rund 60 bis 70 Mitarbeitenden in den Bereichen:
- Accounting
- Controlling
- Billing
- Payroll
- Fleet & Operations
- Finance Systems
- Weiterentwicklung von Teams, Prozessen und Governance-Strukturen
- Steuerung der Zusammenarbeit mit Global Business Services (GBS)
- Sicherstellung einer hochwertigen und effizienten Finance-Service-Erbringung
- Förderung von Standardisierung, Automatisierung und kontinuierlicher Prozessoptimierung
- Aktive Mitgestaltung von Transformations- und Change-Initiativen innerhalb von WPP Deutschland

Ihr Profil

Das bringen Sie mit

- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium mit Schwerpunkt Finanzen, Rechnungswesen oder Wirtschaftsprüfung sowie relevante professionelle Qualifikation
- Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in leitenden Finance- oder Controllership-Funktionen
- Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in IFRS, Rechnungslegung sowie Corporate Governance
- Erfahrung in komplexen internationalen Unternehmensstrukturen mit mehreren Gesellschaften und Berichtslinien
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich SOX und Internal Controls
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Shared-Service-Organisationen
- Umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Erstellung gesetzlicher Abschlüsse und Konzernreportings
- Ausgeprägte Führungskompetenz sowie Erfahrung in der Leitung größerer Teams
- Sicherheit im Umgang mit Vorständen, Geschäftsführungen und weiteren Senior Stakeholdern
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Idealerweise bringen Sie außerdem mit
- Erfahrung in der Medien-, Kommunikations- oder Kreativbranche
