## Role Overview,

As a Lead Mobile Engineer at CardNexus, you will have full ownership of the mobile experience. You will work along with the product and the tech team to provide a seamless experience to our users, allowing them to scan, manage and track their inventory, but also trade and interact with one another.

## What You’ll Do

- Develop the CardNexus Mobile App: Build, deploy, and maintain the app using React Native or Flutter, you decide.
- Implement a Real-Time Card Scanner: Integrate OCR and computer vision to enable fast and accurate card recognition.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure smooth animations, low latency, and seamless cross-platform functionality.
- Integrate with Backend Services: Work closely with backend engineers to connect the app with our marketplace, collection management, and trading tools.
- Enhance UI/UX for Collectors: Work with designers to create an intuitive, visually appealing interface tailored for TCG enthusiasts.
- Ensure Scalability and Stability: Write clean, maintainable code and implement best practices for testing, security, and performance optimization.

## What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience building and deploying mobile apps with React Native or Flutter
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with third-party integrations (Firebase, REST APIs, GraphQL, etc.).
- Understanding of computer vision or OCR technologies.
- Proven Track Record of Ownership: You take full accountability for projects, seeing them through from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality results.
- Broad Technical Knowledge: Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), logging, monitoring, caching, and DevOps best practices.
- Efficiency-Driven Mindset: Ability to write clean, optimized code that minimizes execution time and resource consumption.
- Problem-Solving Excellence: Ability to decompose complex challenges into scalable, maintainable solutions with a performance-first approach.
- Fluent Communication: Strong written and spoken English skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Bonus Points:
- Experience working on a large-scale marketplace with high traffic.
- Understanding of computer vision or OCR technologies.
- Experience with frontend technologies like React, Next.js.
