## 📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

- The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift, ensuring performance, productivity, and quality targets are met.
- This role manages a team of Team Leaders, driving operational excellence, team engagement, and continuous improvement across all processes.

## 🎯 TASKS

Operations Management

- Ensure the correct execution of all operational processes during the shift (inbound, outbound, picking, packing, etc.)

- Monitor KPIs (productivity, quality, service level, safety) and take corrective actions when needed

- Guarantee adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)

## Team Leadership

- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Team Leaders

- Provide clear direction, priorities, and expectations at the beginning of each shift

- Conduct regular performance follow-ups and feedback sessions

- Support Team Leaders in managing their teams effectively

Planning & Coordination

- Align workforce planning with operational needs and volume forecasts

- Ensure proper resource allocation across different areas

- Coordinate with other departments (HR, Planning, Quality, Maintenance)

Continuous Improvement

- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives (LEAN mindset)

- Support implementation of new processes, tools, and best practices

Health & Safety

- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

- Promote a safety-first culture and address any risks immediately

Reporting

- Provide shift reports including performance analysis, incidents, and action plans

- Escalate any operational risks or issues to management

👉 MUST HAVE skills

- Proven experience in a supervisory or similar role within logistics/operations

## Experience managing Team Leaders or middle management

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Analytical mindset with ability to manage KPIs and performance

- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN is a plus)

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmen
