Our first product is a system for unsignaled pedestrian crossings that aims to reduce the risk of accidents. We do this by using video cameras and AI (computer vision), while also collecting relevant data for road administrators. We are looking for someone to help build our latest AI solutions that will serve as the core of the product that we are offering our clients. We look for a special individual who has demonstrated ability to train and deploy AI proof of concepts on a tight schedule, is a great team player, relentlessly curious, has entrepreneurial spirit and gets things done! Our unicorn candidate is part analyst, part strategist, part project manager, part builder and a huge nerd. About the position: - Collaboration type: CIM (no B2B possibility) - Location Requirement: Must be based in Timisoara or the surrounding area. - Work Arrangement: Hybrid position (Remote work possible, but mostly on-site in Timisoara) Key responsibilities: - Participating in the full lifecycle of the AI model: Data Analytics, Data Preparation, Model Training, Finetuning, as well as Deployment, Performance Monitoring and Maintenance - Developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications and continuously contributing to team performance improvement and collaboration - Collaborate with other developers and other teams to implement solutions effectively and in a timely manner. - Analyze tasks and problems together with the team to give accurate predictions of development time, effort and needed technologies. - Help expand our Computer Vision database, or sometimes annotate small datasets for PoC purposes - Spearhead projects to add critical new technologies to our stack or to replace outdated ones - Design and deliver simple and elegant engineering solutions that will scale as our company grows Need to have: - 1 to 3 years work experience on an AI position (depending on level of Education) - BsC or MSc in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence - Proficiency in Python - Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow - Experience with creating custom end-to-end Computer Vision solutions with Deep Learning (e.g. Object Detection, Tracking, Image Segmentation, etc.) - Data Engineering experience (e.g. creating custom datasets for model training) - Strong software engineering skills and ability to design modular and maintainable software solutions - Understanding of machine learning lifecycle management, including model versioning, deployment, and performance monitoring - Basic experience with Deployment container technologies (e.g. Docker) - Working on Linux-based Operating Systems - CI/CD practices and tools (Github) - Ability to work in Timisoara office Nice to have: - Experience with C++ programming - Familiarity with deep learning inference libraries like ONNX or TensorRT - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Kubernetes containerization - Experience deploying AI solutions on edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson - Experience with AWS cloud services - Prior startup / hackathons experience or Personal Projects on Github Compensation and benefits: - Total monthly gross compensation: 10k - 14k RON - Equity package - Trade-off between equity and salary is negotiable Sound right up your alley?
