Brand Partnerships is a growing capability within the team, built to establish DoorDash as a meaningful part of sport, entertainment and culture. Through a portfolio of high-profile, multi-year partnerships, we create distinctive ways for customers to experience DoorDash, strengthen our value proposition, unlock value for merchants, and build enduring relevance for the brand. ## About the role We’re looking for a Manager, Brand Partnerships to lead DoorDash’s portfolio of major brand partnerships across sport, entertainment and culture in Australia and New Zealand. This is a highly visible role responsible for turning significant, multi-year partnership investments into distinctive marketing platforms that deliver both brand and commercial impact. You’ll own partnerships end-to-end: building strong relationships, developing annual strategies, identifying and unlocking valuable rights and opportunities, and leading integrated campaigns and physical activations that bring DoorDash to life for customers. You’ll be equally comfortable setting the long-term strategy for how DoorDash activates a major cultural platform and operating at the lowest level of detail required to bring it to life. You’ll know how to navigate complex rights environments, challenge partners to unlock more value, and connect partnership assets across the broader marketing ecosystem. This role will manage one direct report and work closely with Brand, Creative, PR, Growth, DashPass, Sales and Operations, plus external partners and agencies. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… - Lead DoorDash’s brand partnerships portfolio across sport, entertainment and culture, setting the strategy and activation approach for a portfolio of high-profile, multi-year partnerships. - Turn partnership rights into powerful marketing platforms, translating sponsorship assets into integrated campaigns, experiences and customer propositions that build cultural relevance and deliver commercial impact. - Maximise the value of our partnerships, deeply understanding contracted rights and proactively identifying opportunities to unlock incremental value, improve utilisation and create experiences that differentiate DoorDash. - Lead major physical and experiential activations, from strategy and concept development through production and live delivery, confidently representing DoorDash on the ground at high-profile events and cultural moments. - Build trusted relationships with partners, acting as the senior day-to-day marketing lead and creating relationships that allow DoorDash to move quickly, solve problems and unlock opportunities beyond the contractual minimum. - Create compelling customer experiences, using partnerships to give customers and DashPass members access, benefits and experiences they can’t easily get elsewhere. - Lead integrated partnership campaigns, bringing together internal teams and external agencies around a clear strategy and ensuring partnerships show up cohesively across the customer journey. - Manage complex stakeholders and workstreams, coordinating partners, agencies, production teams and internal stakeholders while maintaining clarity, pace and exceptionally high execution standards. - Measure and communicate partnership impact, establishing clear performance frameworks across brand and business outcomes, and using results and learnings to optimise activation and investment over time. - Shape the future of Brand Partnerships at DoorDash ANZ, helping establish the operating rhythms, standards and principles for a growing capability and identifying where partnerships can create the greatest long-term advantage for the business. - Lead and develop one direct report, creating clarity, building capability and fostering a high-performing partnership marketing function. We’re excited about you because… - You have 6+ years of experience in brand partnerships, sponsorship, experiential marketing or a related field, ideally with significant experience managing major consumer-facing partnerships. - You have a strong track record working with high-profile sports, entertainment, cultural or major event properties, either for a brand, rights holder, agency or similar organisation. - You understand sponsorship rights and rights optimisation. You know how to interrogate a rights package, identify underutilised assets, negotiate additional opportunities and turn contractual rights into meaningful customer and brand value. - You have led large-scale, integrated partnership activations from strategy through execution and measurement, including physical or live event experiences. - You can move seamlessly between strategy and execution — comfortable setting the long-term vision for a partnership and then operating at the lowest level of detail required to bring it to life. - You’re an exceptional operator, able to manage multiple major partnerships, agencies, stakeholders, deadlines and live deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality. - You combine creative ambition with commercial judgement, recognising a big idea while remaining disciplined about what will genuinely create value for DoorDash and its customers. - You’re a strong relationship builder and influencer, capable of developing trusted relationships with senior external partners while bringing diverse internal teams along with you. - You understand how partnerships can work across the full marketing ecosystem — not simply as sponsorship assets, but as platforms for brand building, customer acquisition and retention, loyalty, content, PR and merchant value. - You’re proactive and entrepreneurial; you identify opportunities, push for better outcomes and find ways to make partnerships work harder. - You have high standards for execution and care deeply about how a brand shows up in the real world. - You’re comfortable travelling and working outside standard business hours when required to support major events and activations. - You’re excited by the opportunity to help build a relatively new capability and establish what world-class brand partnerships look like for DoorDash in ANZ. ## About DoorDash At DoorDash, our mission to empower local economies shapes how our team members move quickly, learn, and reiterate in order to make impactful decisions that display empathy for our range of users—from Dashers to merchant partners to consumers.
