Combined with evidence-based health interventions and a hybrid in-person + virtual care model, Daymark is improving the overall cancer experience for patients, providers, and health plans – and setting a new standard in cancer care. This role sits at the center of how Daymark operates, translating strategy into execution across clinical operations, product, and market teams. You will work on a wide range of high-priority problems, from launching new markets to improving care delivery workflows to shaping how we scale as a company. You will partner closely with the VP of Clinical Operations to translate enterprise operating design into repeatable execution across teams, systems, and vendors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing messy operational problems and building systems that make care delivery more reliable and scalable, while closing the gap between how we design care and how it is actually delivered in the real world, especially as we scale into new markets. As a growing startup, we expect this role to evolve significantly over time based on both company needs and your strengths. You will ensure our model is well-designed, executable, repeatable, and reliable across teams and environments. ## WHAT YOU'LL DO Operational Readiness for New Markets and Service Lines. - Design and operationalize the infrastructure required for new markets and service lines, including vendor setup, tooling, and operational workflows - Translate care model standards into operational workflows and ensure that care delivery workflows, documentation standards, and operational processes are ready for launch. - Support go-live stabilization and capture operational learnings to strengthen future launch playbooks. - Help to translate operational design into real-world implementation across teams, systems, and vendors. - Identify gaps beyond launch readiness and take ownership of solving them, even when they fall outside defined swim lanes. Care Delivery Workflow Design, Improvement & Enablement - Translate the care model into scalable operational workflows and ensure they are reflected in the tools and systems our teams rely on every day. - Drive improvements across care delivery workflows, enrollment operations, and cross-team coordination, including how work moves between teams - Diagnose operational friction and implement solutions that strengthen care team reliability and efficiency. Explore new opportunities to improve how care is delivered, even beyond current workflows. - Partner with Product to embed workflows into the tools and systems our teams use, including documentation, task management, and scheduling. - Build the operational infrastructure that enables consistent execution across markets by driving operational review cadences, ensuring KPIs have clear ownership, identifying execution drift, and taking on emerging operational priorities as the company evolves. ## WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ## Experience - Experience in healthcare operations, clinical operations, or care delivery environments - Exposure to market launches, implementations, or scaling operations (healthcare preferred) - Strong process documentation and workflow design skills - Startup or high-growth experience is a plus Qualities - Adaptability: You thrive in ambiguity and know how to create structure. As an early-stage company, priorities will shift quickly and this role is expected to flex into new areas based on where the business needs the most support - Operational Acumen: You are detail-oriented and systems-minded. You can document processes without over-engineering them. You can balance near-term execution with long-term system building - Collaboration: You are comfortable working across clinical, operational, and technical domains. You operate with influence, not authority - Drive to Learn: You ask good questions and spot gaps others miss. You are excited by roles that don’t have rigid boundaries and are willing to step into what is most needed. You are motivated by learning quickly and taking on increasing responsibility over time. Additional Information The expected compensation for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on location & experience. This role is fully remote but will operate on Eastern time business hours. ## About Daymark Health ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Daymark Health delivers in-home and virtual supportive cancer care, partnering with health plans and oncologists to provide continuous, wraparound support for patients between clinic visits. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - **Founded**: 2024 - **Founders**: Justin Bekelman (CEO), Paul Dufault (COO), Brian Lovett (Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Healthcare services, oncology care, value-based care, health technology - **Target customers**: B2B – health plans, health systems, and oncologists; B2C – cancer patients and their families - **Mission or purpose statement**: "To transform the cancer care experience by delivering personalized, world-class care when and where patients need it most." ## Products & Services - **In-Home & Virtual Cancer Care (Core Platform)**: A hybrid care model that provides 24/7 access to oncology-trained nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and health partners.
