Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy. ## The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Recruiting Manager to lead our recruiting team and drive the talent strategy for our solar module facility. This role manages a team of recruiters and coordinators, sets the sourcing and hiring strategy for production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse roles, and holds the team accountable to the metrics that keep pace with our rapid manufacturing growth. You’ll partner closely with plant operations leaders and HR to build a recruiting engine that consistently delivers the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. ## What You’ll Do - Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators responsible for high-volume hiring across production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse roles at the Wilmer manufacturing facility. - Set the sourcing strategy the team executes against, including job fairs, community partnerships, staffing agency relationships, and digital campaigns, to keep pace with aggressive hiring targets. - Plan team capacity and structure, hiring, onboarding, and assigning recruiters and coordinators as requisition volume shifts across the facility. - Set clear goals and hold the team accountable to time-to-fill, offer-acceptance, and quality-of-hire metrics, coaching individual recruiters to improve performance and grow in their roles. - Partner with plant operations and shift leaders to forecast headcount needs and build hiring plans that support production ramps and new shift launches. - Own the team’s hiring process end to end, identifying bottlenecks in the candidate journey and directing the team to resolve them and reduce time-to-start. - Track and report recruiting metrics and pipeline health to HR and plant leadership, using data to identify bottlenecks and adjust strategy in real time. - Ensure hiring practices comply with EEOC and other applicable federal and state employment regulations. ## Who You Are - A people-first leader who thrives on developing a recruiting team and treats every one of your team’s open requisitions like it matters. - A natural relationship builder who partners easily with plant managers, shift supervisors, and community organizations to build a strong talent pipeline. - Data-driven and organized, comfortable overseeing a team juggling a large, active pipeline and multiple open requisitions without letting anything fall through the cracks. - A clear, direct communicator who can coach a recruiting team, influence operational leaders, and represent T1 Energy well to every candidate. - Someone who takes ownership, moves fast, and holds a high bar for quality of hire even under pressure to fill roles quickly. ## Qualifications - 6+ years of recruiting experience, including experience in high-volume, hourly, or manufacturing/industrial hiring. - 5+ years of experience directly managing or leading a recruiting team, including performance management and coaching direct reports. - Proven track record of leading a team to hit aggressive hiring targets, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a similar production environment. - Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics/reporting tools. - Working knowledge of EEOC and other employment laws relevant to high-volume hiring. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Willingness to work on-site at the Wilmer, TX manufacturing facility and adapt to the schedule of a 24/7 production operation. The T1 Way We move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect. We also have a no-jerks policy: we don't tolerate big egos, bad behavior or "that's not my job attitude". Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and have a sense of humor, you'll fit right in. T1 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristics. ## About T1 Energy ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: T1 Energy manufactures advanced solar modules and is building an integrated U.S. solar and battery supply chain for utility-scale energy customers. - **Entity Type**: Public (NYSE: TE) - **Headquarters**: Austin, Texas, USA - **Founded**: 2020 (as FREYR Battery); rebranded to T1 Energy in February 2025 - **Founders**: Not publicly available ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing, solar cell production, battery energy storage, and data center infrastructure. - **Target customers**: Utility-scale solar developers and independent power producers (B2B). - **Mission statement**: “Advancing the energy shift from Austin, Texas” by building domestic solar & battery supply chains to deliver scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. ## Products & Services - **G1_Dallas Solar Modules**: High-efficiency PERC and TOPCon PV solar modules produced at a 5 GW nameplate facility in Wilmer, Texas.
