Daymark’s comprehensive, personalized cancer care platform empowers patients with dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health care, and social resources. Combined with evidence-based health interventions and a hybrid in-person + virtual care model, Daymark is improving the overall cancer experience for patients, providers, and health plans – and setting a new standard in cancer care. Daymark’s groundbreaking approach is led by CEO Dr. Justin Bekelman, a pioneer in transforming cancer care, alongside some of the nation’s foremost leaders in oncology and value-based care. Daymark Health is backed by Maverick Ventures, Yosemite, Oncology Ventures, Healthier Capital, Blue Venture Fund, and Healthcare Foundry. Be cautious of recruitment fraud, and always confirm that communications are coming from an official Daymark Health email. ## ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for someone to take ownership of Licensing and Credentialing at Daymark and grow it into a real function. You’ll be responsible for keeping our clinicians licensed and credentialed to practice and bill as we move into new states quickly, covering licensing strategy, commercial payer credentialing, Medicare enrollment, and the compliance questions that sit underneath all of it. The work touches Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, Revenue Cycle, and People, so you’ll be comfortable operating across all of them. This is a role for someone who is genuinely hands-on with licensing and credentialing. You know the compacts, the expedited routes, and how to time credentialing against launch and payer-contracting deadlines, but you can also step back and think about state expansion and prescriptive authority as connected problems. We think of this as the level where execution and strategy meet: detailed enough to run the applications and renewals yourself today, senior enough to design the system and, over time, hire and lead a team of specialists to run it. ## WHAT YOU'LL DO Clinical Licensing Strategy & Execution - Set the multi-state licensing roadmap and priorities against Daymark’s launch timeline, and know the terrain state by state for MD, DO, NP, and RN pathways. - Get providers licensed faster by working the fastest route available — interstate compacts (IMLC, NLC, APRN Compact) and FCVS where they apply. - Run applications and renewals to completion, from verifications and board back-and-forth through clearing whatever holds them up. - Keep the licensing tracker and platform accurate, and keep leadership current on where every provider stands. Payer Credentialing Strategy, Research & Execution - Build the credentialing plan around which payers matter in which states, and time it to line up with licensing and go-live dates. - Stand up and maintain CAQH profiles and attestations. - Submit and shepherd commercial payer applications, chasing down pending items and fixing whatever the payer flags. - Keep the credentialing tracker current and leadership in the loop. Medicare Credentialing & Enrollment - Figure out the Medicare enrollment approach and the right MAC jurisdiction for each state we enter. - Own PECOS end to end — the 855I/855B/855R filings, reassignments, revalidations, and change-of-info updates. - Stay on top of the MACs: respond to development requests, resolve issues, and report status back to the team. New Hire Onboarding Support - Kick off licensing and credentialing for every new clinician, starting from documentation intake. - Work with the internal team to sequence credentialing against start dates so no one is blocked from practicing or billing on day one. - Keep onboarding documentation and status organized and visible. Clinical Operations Compliance Support - Be the go-to for how scope of practice, practice authority, and supervision rules actually work state to state. - Support collaborative practice agreements and prescriptive authority — controlled substance registrations, DEA questions — looping in outside counsel where it makes sense. - Track CME, continuing education, and clinical certifications like CPR/BLS so nothing lapses. ## Team Building & Leadership - Hire and lead a small specialist team beneath you as the function grows. - Build the repeatable workflows, QA checks, and reporting rhythms that let the function scale, and partner across teams to unblock what stalls. ## WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ## Experience - Direct, hands-on experience owning provider licensing and payer credentialing end to end, including interstate compacts (IMLC, NLC, APRN Compact) and expedited pathways. - Experience with Medicare enrollment via PECOS (855I, 855B, 855R), CAQH, and credentialing platforms. - Familiarity with scope of practice, collaborative practice agreements, and prescriptive/controlled substance authority in a multi-state context. - Experience at a startup or high-growth healthcare company is a plus. Qualities - You are both strategic and highly execution-oriented; you can design the system and work within it. - You bring strong organizational instincts and are comfortable managing high-volume, detail-heavy workflows without dropping anything. - You can partner effectively across clinical, operational, finance, and legal teams. - You are energized by building from scratch and growing a function. - You have high standards for compliance and operational integrity. Additional Information The expected compensation for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on location & experience. This role is fully remote but will operate on either Central or Eastern time business hours. ## About Daymark Health ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Daymark Health delivers in-home and virtual supportive cancer care, partnering with health plans and oncologists to provide continuous, wraparound support for patients between clinic visits. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A) - **Headquarters**: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - **Founded**: 2024 - **Founders**: Justin Bekelman (CEO), Paul Dufault (COO), Brian Lovett (Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary industries**: Healthcare services, oncology care, value-based care, health technology - **Target customers**: B2B – health plans, health systems, and oncologists; B2C – cancer patients and their families - **Mission or purpose statement**: "To transform the cancer care experience by delivering personalized, world-class care when and where patients need it most." ## Products & Services - **In-Home & Virtual Cancer Care (Core Platform)**: A hybrid care model that provides 24/7 access to oncology-trained nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, and health partners.
