The role is responsible for a variety of coordination, execution and ongoing management of key Sales Operations and Marketing Operations functions that enable effective field execution and support broader commercial objectives. This role offers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of core commercial operations processes while partnering closely with the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations on broader strategic initiatives and the continued evolution of the function. Key responsibilities include: 1) Sales operations execution and field support, 2) CRM, data, and commercial technology operations, 3) Field communications, reporting, and sales effectiveness, 4) operational process management and continuous improvement. ## JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as a key resource for field Sales Operations support, responding to and troubleshooting ad-hoc questions and requests related to Veeva, Power BI, reporting, and other commercial processes. - Manage incentive compensation payout administration and processing, including DocuSign approvals, Finance submissions, and end-of-quarter incentive compensation and performance results communications and documentation. - Lead the day-to-day operational administration and support of Veeva CRM, including customer/master data maintenance, user inquiries, field requests, and UAT for new enhancements and capabilities. - Own the Commercial Operations shared inbox and field communications processes, coordinating the quarterly Commercial Operations newsletter and various communications to the field teams. - Produce and maintain recurring sales effectiveness and commercial reporting, including call activity, RTE utilization, exhibits/sponsorships reporting, and other performance metrics for Field Commercial and Medical leadership. - Coordinate key Marketing Operations activities, including testing-kit operations and inventory management, print production fulfillment and inventory management. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, process documentation, timelines, and tracking mechanisms for assigned Sales and Marketing operations activities. - Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve operational processes, reducing manual work and improving the field experience. - Manage multiple concurrent operational priorities and projects, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently and within established timelines. - Support the development and evolution of Sales Operations processes, reporting capabilities, and tools to improve field effectiveness and data-driven decision making. ## QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree required - 3+ years of Sales Operations, Field Operations, or related experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (which may include work as a consultant or supplier to the industry) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of Sales Operations processes, commercial field support, and day-to-day operational needs of a field sales organization. - Proficiency with CRM and business intelligent/reporting platforms; Veeva CRM and Power BI preferred. - Understanding of key pharmaceutical data sources and data structures, with the ability to leverage data to support reporting and business insights. - Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Strong project and process management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. - Strong interpersonal and customer-service orientation, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders. - Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced and evolving environment. - Adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities as business needs and commercial operations capabilities evolve. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and appropriately escalate when needed. - Self-starter. Proactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to; skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
