We are looking for talented, motivated and ambitious team members to revolutionize robotic surgery. ## About The Team We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting medical robotic systems while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of robotic hardware, sensors, motors, PLC’s, relays, circuit boards, computers, cabling and experience with and testing, excellent troubleshooting skills, and GMP experience. A Day In The Life Of Our Manufacturing System Test Technician - Assemble and/or test medical robotic systems and subassemblies according to established MPI, drawings, and schematics. - Executing detailed, step-by-step electronic test procedures per Manufacturing Process Instructions(MPI’s) ,, recording pass/fail results and numeric measurements (resistance, leakage current, voltage) against defined tolerances in Device History Records(DHR’s) - Running pre-built diagnostic software and test scripts (e.g., MTS Runner, Nova) to validate system function, and troubleshooting when a step doesn't pass on the first try. - Configuring and troubleshooting Windows-based test systems — adjusting COM ports in Device Manager, setting static IP addresses, managing USB security policies, and using SFTP clients (WinSCP) to transfer and update configuration files. - Editing XML configuration files and re-signing them using command-line utilities as part of system setup. - Operating electrical safety test equipment (HiPot testers, ground bond testers, leakage current testers) to verify devices meet safety standards, carefully following high-voltage safety protocols. - Monitoring subsystem status (e.g., UPS battery charge) using SNMP/MIB browser tools during extended test cycles. - Documenting test results, error codes, and engineering justifications precisely and consistently in the electronic device history record (DHR) — accuracy here matters as much as the testing itself. - Performing final mechanical assembly steps, such as installing cosmetic covers, bumpers, and labels, using basic hand tools. - Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot failures, escalate unresolved issues, and support root cause analysis for nonconformances - Perform packaging medical subassemblies and systems according to established MPI, and drawings. - Install and configure hardware components, including robotic arms, sensors, motors, PLC’s, relays, circuit boards and cables. - Install and configure software components, including programming and testing of robotic movements and functions. - Perform system testing and work with engineers to troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Maintain accurate records of system configurations, test results, and troubleshooting activities as part of the Device History Records while adhering to GMP. - Maintain a clean and organized work area as part of the line clearance procedure as lean manufacturing practices. - Meet all standard cycle time requirements and quality standards. - Perform other reasonable duties in assembly, rework, or test as required - Might require to stay overtime as required - Shift schedule: Monday - Thursday: 5:00AM-3:30PM or 3:00PM-2:00AM ## About You - Proficient with Windows OS administration (Device Manager, network/IP configuration, file transfer via SFTP clients), comfortable executing command-line utilities, and able to interpret and troubleshoot structured software test procedures and error logs - Basic familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, ethernet configuration) - Ability to operate electrical safety test equipment (e.g., HiPot testers, ground bond testers) and interpret numeric test results against defined pass/fail criteria - Experience working in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 required. - High School Diploma required and a Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on software-driven test systems work experience required (or) - AS Degree with technical emphasis and  minimum 2 years of hands-on software-driven test systems work experience required (or) - BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar with 1 year of experience with software-driven test systems - Knowledge of GMP, Non-Conformance reports, and Line clearance experience required. - English language proficiency required #LI-Onsite Pay Transparency The Pay Range for this position is listed.
