Most of the market is racing to put an agent on one side of the deal — the buyer's or the supplier's. We built the next stage: the network where both sides run agents that negotiate with each other. Right now, no CFO is asking to buy this. Not because they don't have the problem, but because the category doesn't have a name yet. That's the job. We're looking for the person who will name the category and build the brand that makes it feel inevitable — the one who turns agent-to-agent finance from a technical claim into something every finance leader in Europe recognises on sight and has an opinion about. Brand here is not a logo and a tone-of-voice deck. It's the whole surface area: what we stand for, how we look, how we sound, what it feels like to encounter us on a website, on a stage, in an inbox, at a dinner. You'll be the first marketer here, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders, from Madrid. Built by the team behind multiple unicorns and companies like Taulia and Finoa, we've built and scaled companies from San Francisco to Berlin. We're backed by Creandum and an angel network of founders and operators from Qonto, SoFi, SAP, ING, and DeepMind. We've just launched our visual identity. Everything that turns it into a brand is yours to build. ## What you'll do - Name and win the category. The positioning, the narrative, the vocabulary the market ends up using. Make agent-to-agent finance look obvious in hindsight. Everything else on this list is downstream of this one. - Build the brand, end to end. Identity, visual system, voice, motion, product surfaces, event presence, swag, the deck a CFO forwards to their board. You're the owner and the standard-setter — you decide what's on-brand, and you defend it. - Make every touchpoint feel like us. Website, content, social, email, sales collateral, onboarding, support replies. A brand is the sum of its encounters, and most companies leak credibility at the edges. You don't. - Own earned attention. Press, analysts, podcasts, the conversation on LinkedIn. We want to be covered because the story is worth covering, not because we paid for placement. - Make our founders unmissable. Maex, Philip, and Henrik should be the three people the market quotes on autonomous finance. You build that: positioning, prep, cadence, platform. - Create moments. Launches, intimate CFO dinners, conference activations, whatever else earns disproportionate attention for a company that wants to be anything but ordinary. - Turn attention into pipeline. Lay the first demand and ABM groundwork so category awareness converts into named finance accounts. Call it a quarter of the job — necessary, but not the point of it. ## What we're looking for - You've built a brand, not just run marketing. Show us something you shaped from identity through execution — the system, the surfaces, the standard. Tell us what it looked and sounded like before you arrived, and after. - Taste, and the nerve to defend it. Visual and verbal judgment. You can tell good from nearly-good, and you'd rather ship something with a point of view than something safe. - You've taught a market something new. Category creation with receipts, not competitive displacement. Bring the narrative, the launch, or the campaign — and tell us what the market believed before, and after. - You write well enough to carry the idea. You can take a hard technical concept and make a CFO feel something about it in three sentences. We'll ask for things you've made and we'll look at them closely. - Enterprise B2B instinct. You understand multi-stakeholder buying, long cycles, and how a finance org actually decides. You don't need to be taught what a procurement review is. - A builder who ships. The landing page is live by Friday. You don't write a brief and wait for an agency. - AI-native by default. You run a roster of tools and agents to multiply your own craft — research, design, production — not to outsource the thinking. - Direct, low-ego, high-ownership. You challenge ideas constructively and take a problem from definition to shipped outcome without being directed. This is a wishlist, not a checklist. If the role excites you but you don’t tick every box, we would encourage you to apply anyway. ## Nice to have - Experience marketing to finance leaders, or in the office-of-the-CFO / fintech space - Design fluency — you can work in Figma and Webflow yourself, and brief a designer properly when you can't - A track record in PR and analyst relations (in-house or agency-side), and founder/executive communications - Spanish or German ## About Causa Prima ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Causa Prima operates an agent-to-agent network that automates invoicing, dispute resolution, and payment-term negotiations between buyers and suppliers for finance teams. - **Entity Type**: Private (Pre-Seed) - **Headquarters**: Madrid, Spain & Munich, Germany - **Founded**: 2025 (implied by recent funding and hiring activity in early 2026) - **Founders**: Maex Ament (CEO), Henrik Gebbing (COO), Philip Stanislaus (CTO) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: B2B Fintech / Accounts Payable & Receivable Automation - **Target customers**: SMB and Enterprise finance teams (buyers and suppliers) - **Mission or purpose**: To eliminate fixed payment terms (Net-30, Net-60) by enabling AI agents on both sides of a transaction to settle instantly, so money moves on the right terms at the right time automatically. ## Products & Services - **Causa Prima Network**: A two-sided agent-to-agent network where AI agents handle invoicing, dispute resolution, and dynamic discounting. Buyers and suppliers connect on one platform, removing manual handoffs between AP and AR systems. - **Scribo (Open Source)**: A free, AI-native e-invoicing tool compliant with EN 16931 (ZUGFeRD/XRechnung for Germany, US plain PDF). Available as an MCP server, Claude/Codex skill, CLI, HTTP API, and web app. Designed to help developers and finance teams generate compliant invoices programmatically. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not disclosed (pre-seed stage) - **Key Metric**: $10M in total funding (pre-seed round, announced June 2026) - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Creandum (led the round), Kfund, HelloWorld, Angel Invest, plus angel investors from Qonto, Pennylane, SAP, ING, SoFi, LIDL, and DeepMind. - **Growth Signals**: Already trusted by 3,000+ accounts; headcount grew 28.6% monthly (LinkedIn data as of mid-2026); hiring for engineering and product roles in Madrid and Munich; open-source Scribo project gaining traction (12 stars on GitHub). ## Competitive Advantages - **Two-sided network**: Unlike competitors that automate only one side (AP or AR), Causa Prima connects both buyers and suppliers on a shared network, eliminating the gap between systems. - **Founder credibility**: Maex Ament invented dynamic discounting and co-founded Taulia (acquired by SAP, processing $50B/quarter). Henrik Gebbing built Finoa to $10B in assets under custody. Philip Stanislaus led 600+ enterprise security audits at Oak Security. - **Agent-native design**: The platform is built from the ground up for AI agents to negotiate in real time, not just to speed up human workflows. ## Strategic Focus - **Current priorities**: Grow the engineering and product teams in Madrid and Munich; scale the network beyond 3,000 accounts; push toward eliminating fixed payment terms entirely by making agent-to-agent settlement the default. - **Direction**: Move from automating existing finance processes to replacing the underlying paradigm of B2B payments (Net-30/60/90) with instant, AI-driven settlement. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Described by founders as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” for people who want to build high-impact infrastructure from scratch. Emphasis on entrepreneurial drive and solving a problem that software has never fully addressed. - **Remote/Hybrid/Office**: Presence in Madrid and Munich; roles appear to be in-office or hybrid (engineering roles listed in these cities). - **Notable perks/engineering culture**: Early-stage startup with a small team (6 employees as of mid-2026) — high ownership and direct impact. Tech stack includes TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Python. Open-source contributions (Scribo) are a core part of the product strategy. Backed by top-tier VC (Creandum) with strong founder track record. ## Sources 1. [causaprima.ai](https://causaprima.ai/) 2. [jobs.ashbyhq.com](https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/causaprima) 3.
