We bring together design, engineering, technology and advanced manufacturing to create an entirely new generation of housing: buildings that are dramatically more efficient to produce, remarkably simple to operate and exceptional to experience. Our first product is Calypso, a completely reimagined apartment building designed to make extraordinary homes attainable for working people. Backed by institutional partners including Lennar, we're now taking what we've invented and bringing it to the world. And we're looking for exceptional people who want to help us do it. ## The Role This isn't a traditional administrative job. You'll work at the center of Vessel's New York office, directly with our Chief of Staff and senior leadership, helping with everything from marketing and social content to team operations, new hire onboarding, company events and the hundred small things that make a fast moving company work. Some days you'll help create content for LinkedIn or Instagram. Others you'll prepare for an important meeting, welcome a candidate, solve an office problem, help onboard a new employee or take ownership of a project that didn't exist the day before. The common thread is simple: you see what needs to happen, and you make it happen. For someone at the beginning of their career, it's an unusual seat. You'll see how decisions get made, how products get launched, how a company tells its story and how an ambitious idea becomes a real business. And as you demonstrate what you can do, your responsibility can grow quickly. ## What You'll Do - Help tell the Vessel story. Support our marketing efforts across social media, company communications, presentations, events and content creation. Help us find compelling ways to explain what we're building and why it matters. - Make the office exceptional. Own the everyday experience of our New York headquarters, welcoming visitors, coordinating meetings and team lunches, managing supplies and making sure the environment reflects the standards of the company we're building. - Keep the team moving. Help new employees get up and running, coordinate systems and access, support scheduling and logistics, and handle administrative needs across the organization. - Solve problems before they become problems. Notice the details others miss. Whether it's a meeting that needs preparing, a delivery that hasn't arrived, a printer that isn't working or something in the office that needs attention, take ownership and get it fixed. - Take on whatever matters. At a growing company, important work doesn't always arrive neatly packaged inside a job description. Jump in. Figure it out. Make it better. The more you can own, the more we'll give you to own. ## Who You Are We're less interested in a long resume than in how you think, what you notice and what you do about it. You are: - Exceptionally organized. You can keep multiple things moving without losing the details. - Proactive. You don't wait to be told what needs doing. You see it and act. - Resourceful. When you don't know how to do something, your instinct is to figure it out. - A strong communicator. You write well, speak clearly and understand that how something is presented matters. - Social media fluent. You understand platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram, have a strong instinct for compelling content and know what makes people stop, pay attention and engage. - Creative. You have an eye for good ideas, good design and good storytelling. - Low ego. You can help create a presentation for the CEO and make sure the office refrigerator is stocked in the same afternoon. Both matter. - Curious and ambitious. You want to learn quickly, take on responsibility and be around people doing difficult things. - Someone who cares. About the details, about the people around you and about doing work that matters. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. This could be an outstanding role for someone with roughly 1 to 2 years of experience, or an exceptional recent graduate who has already demonstrated initiative through internships, extracurricular work, social media or projects of their own. This is a full time, in office role in New York City. ## Compensation $65,000 annual base salary. ## Why Vessel Vessel's mission is simple: to overcome the housing crisis and offer each person the opportunity for an extraordinary life. For too long, attainably priced housing has been out of reach for hardworking Americans. We're changing that by harnessing new technologies and never before tried approaches to create a whole new generation of housing that works for working people. Vessel team members understand that they don't simply have a job. They have a mission to accomplish. They believe in it. They're passionate about it. And they know they're working on something they couldn't do almost anywhere else. If you're just beginning your career, you have a lot of choices about where to spend your time and your talent. You can help sell another product. Optimize another app. Make another thing a little more efficient. Or you can help reinvent something every person needs: a home. If you're one of those people, we want to hear from you. ## About Vessel Technologies ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Vessel Technologies designs, manufactures, and distributes revolutionary multifamily apartment buildings engineered to lower construction costs, reduce risk, and deliver sustainable, technology-enhanced homes. - **Entity Type**: Private (Startup/VC-backed) - **Headquarters**: New York, New York, USA - **Founded**: 2017 - **Founders**: Neil Rubler ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Real Estate, Construction Technology (PropTech/ConTech), Multifamily Housing - **Target customers**: B2B – Landowners, developers, and operators who want to build multifamily housing (market rate, workforce, student, senior, and affordable/income-restricted).
