This role coordinates Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, and Logistics activities to support material readiness, program schedules, and financial objectives. The MPM ensures material risks, shortages, supplier constraints, and configuration changes are identified, communicated, and managed within the program operating rhythm. The MPM operates within Integrated Product Team (IPT) and program management structures, translating supply chain execution into program-level schedule, cost, and readiness impacts. For programs operating within EVMS or EVMS-Lite environments, the MPM may serve as the SCM Control Account Manager (CAM), supporting schedule alignment, forecasting, variance analysis, and execution visibility.
