What You'll Get to Do: We’re hiring mechanical engineers who are excited for the variety and challenge of product development. In this role you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment. You’ll join a group of talented engineers to develop new technologies and bring new products to market. You will further your experience developing designs, building and testing prototypes, and using the knowledge gained through testing to refine and improve on previous designs. You will be immersed in Fikst’s hands-on culture of experimentation and building, using our full CNC machining and turning centers, array of 3D-printers and laser  cutters, and a huge arsenal of scientific and engineering equipment. You will do all of this in lively collaboration with your fellow engineers and our clients. What You Bring to the Team: - B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - 3-5 years of industry experience - Broad technical background and the desire to learn more - 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred) - Experience with a range of manufacturing processes is a plus (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.) - Experience designing robotic systems or industrial automation a plus Additional Details Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is [$95,000 - $120,000]. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive compensation (LTIP), in addition to a competitive benefits package.
