We are looking for an experienced Media Buyer to take full ownership of our paid acquisition across Meta and Google. We make a variety of construction tools and software that we sell online and in stores to customers across the globe. You will own roughly $1-1.5M in annual ad spend across Meta and Google. This is a hands-on, in-platform role where you will build, test, and optimize campaigns yourself, and you will do it alongside an internal creative team that produces a high volume of video and static assets into a high functioning machine. Your job is to feed that engine, tell the creative team what is working and what to make next, and turn their output into profitable growth. We will primarily be running ads to our own website which is Shopify based. We are looking for someone who thinks in blended terms rather than platform reported ROAS, who has a real testing methodology rather than a list of hacks, and who is comfortable being the single owner of a budget this size and knows the ins and outs of the industry.  Role will focus on media buying but also have touch points and ownership across our marketing stack. ## The Role - Own day to day management of approximately $1.2M in annual paid spend across Meta and Google (Shopping, Performance Max, Search, and YouTube) - Build, launch, and optimize campaigns in platform — account structure, budgets, bidding, audiences, and daily pacing - Run a structured creative testing program with our internal creative team, and brief them on what to produce next based on what the data actually shows - Report performance against blended MER and contribution margin targets, not just platform reported ROAS - Manage our product data feeds for Google Shopping and the Meta catalog, including feed quality, titles, and segmentation - Own tracking accuracy across Meta Pixel and CAPI, Google tags, and GA4, and surface discrepancies before they distort decisions - Plan and run landing page and offer tests to improve conversion rate - Help us grow demand creation and not only demand capture - Create automations (n8n and Zapier) for reporting, pacing alerts, and creative trafficking - Recommend where budget should move, including telling us clearly when we should be spending less ## Your Background - Minimum 4 years of hands on media buying experience, including at least 2 years with direct personal responsibility for $75-150k per month in spend - Demonstrable ecommerce or DTC experience. You must be able to walk us through accounts you personally ran, with real numbers - Strong across both Meta and Google. If you are meaningfully stronger on one, tell us which and be honest about the gap - Working command of blended metrics (MER, CAC, contribution margin) and a clear view of when platform reported numbers are misleading you - Solid measurement fundamentals: pixel and CAPI setup, conversion tracking, attribution windows, and the basics of incrementality testing - Experience partnering with an in house creative team. Writing briefs, diagnosing creative fatigue, and turning results into the next round of assets - Exceptional written English - grammar, tone, and clarity must be outstanding, as you will be writing briefs and analyses we act on - Physical product or considered purchase experience is a plus. Construction, tools, or the trades is a significant plus - Amazon Ads experience is a plus Even if you don’t check every box mentioned above, we still strongly encourage you to apply!  At REEKON Tools, diversity is a cornerstone of the business we are building.  We know that diverse perspectives foster the innovation we need to be successful and are committed to building our team that encompasses a wide variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills! We are an equal opportunity employer.  We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
