We are looking for: - Strong skills and professional experience in at least one of: - software engineering in a collaborative, production environment - applied math, e.g., AI, operations research, statistics, probability, and/or machine learning - product leadership on AI - Excellent communication skills, can distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences - Comfort in a client-facing role Nice to have: - PhD in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field - Successful track record leading large-scale technical projects, especially in a customer-facing role - Deep expertise and/or thought leadership in a technical field (e.g. influential writing, strong publication record, professorship) This is an in-person role, based out of our office in San Francisco. We offer relocation assistance for new employees and highly-competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role is $110,000-$350,000. We also offer a generous performance-based bonus and an array of company benefits. --- ## About Kiso Technology ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Kiso Technology builds algorithmic software and applied AI systems to power autonomous planning and logistics for data center, semiconductor, grocery, and retail industries. - **Entity Type**: Private (Unfunded/Bootstrapped) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Sam Ryan (Co-Founder), Evan Jonokuchi (Co-Founder) ## Core Business - **Primary Industry**: Software Development, AI/ML, Operations Research - **Target Customers**: Enterprise companies in data center, semiconductor, grocery, and retail verticals; also provides consulting services for AI application development across industries. - **Mission/Purpose**: To build intelligent systems that help humans and machines make principled decisions at scale, deploying the world’s best team of applied technical talent to drive bottom-line impact. ## Products & Services - **Decision Science**: Algorithmic software that powers autonomous planning and logistics, handling complex supply chain and operational challenges.
