The team is responsible for taking products like Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air-breathing cruise missile) from concept to product. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril’s premier software platform that enables masses of Fury, Barracuda, and other first and third party robots to collaborate across various missions. We work in close coordination with specialist teams like Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. We are looking for Software Engineers to design, build, and automate the software platforms and tooling that power our development, simulation, and deployment environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our core software platforms and the diverse environments ranging from cloud infrastructure to on-premises and edge hardware where our systems run. ## REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Currently hold an active U.S. Secret or above security clearance - 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on infrastructure problems - Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field - Experience with Python and a background in scripting programming languages (Go or Rust exp a plus) - Experience with Kubernetes or NixOS in production environments - Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases - A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact ## PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Strong background with a focus in simulation or high performance compute management - Experience managing physical rack based deployment - Experience working with GPU/CPU accelerated workflows - Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics - Experience working directly with end users Per Anduril's expansion plans, we anticipate this job will be based out of Long Beach, CA beginning late 2027. US Salary Range $166,000—$220,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
