## Job description

Job Summary:AI Team は、ペアーズの安心・安全（Trust & Safety）を守るモデレーションや、推薦など、AI を活用したプロダクトを開発・運用するチームです。テキスト・画像の審査、違反報告の判定、不正検知などを担う LLM / 機械学習アプリケーションを、Kubernetes を中心とした AWS / Google Cloud 上の基盤で動かしています。 本ポジションの MLOps Engineer は、AI Team の一員として各 AI プロダクトのチームに入り込み（Embedded SRE に近い働き方です）、プロダクトの信頼性と開発スピードの両立に責任を持ちます。Kubernetes クラスタ本体、クラスタ上の共通コンポーネント、オンライン推論 API・非同期ワーカー・バッチ・継続学習パイプラインまでを、一貫したオーナーシップを持って担当します。SRE・セキュリティ・プライバシーの各チームやプロダクトチームと連携しながら、AI プロダクトを支える基盤を整えていきます。 モデルの研究開発そのものではなく、「AI プロダクトを本番で安定して動かし続け、速く安全に改善できる状態をつくる」ことが主なミッションです。コーディングエージェントや AI エージェントを積極的に活用し、運用のトイルを仕組みによって減らしていくことも期待しています。あわせて、作業や実装で得た知見をドキュメント・lint・テストといった形で AI エージェント向けのハーネスに還元し、人とエージェントがともに安全に速く開発できる環境を育てていくことを期待しています。

What You’ll Do:

- Kubernetes（Amazon EKS）クラスタのバージョンアップ、ノードグループやオートスケーリングの管理、GitOps（Argo CD / Helm / Kustomize）で管理しているクラスタコンポーネントのメンテナンスと改善
- AI アプリケーションの可観測性・モニタリング・アラートの再設計（メトリクス・ログ・トレースの整備、アクショナブルなアラートと Runbook の整備）と、AI エージェントを活用したアラート一次調査の自動化
- SRE チームと連携した、AI アプリケーションの SLI / SLO の策定と運用（ユースケースごとの障害影響に基づく目標値の設定、バーンレートアラート、チーム間のトリアージフローの整備）
- AI プロダクトを構成する多数の Python アプリケーションについて、依存ライブラリ・Python ランタイム・ベースイメージ・セキュリティパッチを継続的に更新する仕組みの設計と運用（自動更新 bot、lockfile 管理、CI による検証）
- LLM のモデルや SDK の更新に伴う移行のリード（Amazon Bedrock 上の Claude、GPTモデルやGemini Enterprise Agent PlatformのGeminiモデルの世代移行など）と、品質の回帰確認・段階的なリリース
- セキュリティ・プライバシーチームと連携した、AI 基盤のセキュリティとデータ保護の推進（OSS パッケージやコンテナイメージ、CI / CD を狙うサプライチェーン攻撃や、AI によって高度化・自動化する攻撃を踏まえた脆弱性対応と権限管理、データの保持期間ルールに沿った学習データ・ログの扱い）
- Argo Workflows と Amazon SageMaker を使った継続学習パイプライン・学習環境・データセット整備環境の運用と改善
- 推薦領域の学習・バッチで使っている Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform（旧 Vertex AI）上の環境の運用と改善
- Kubernetes 上で動くオンライン推論 API・キュー駆動の非同期ワーカー・バッチアプリケーションの運用（キャパシティプランニング、コスト最適化、障害対応、CI / CD とリリースフローの改善）
- コーディングエージェントや AI エージェントを活用した、日々の開発・運用のトイルの削減
- 日々の作業や実装で得た知見を、AI エージェントが参照・検証に使えるハーネス（ドキュメント、lint、テスト、CI のチェックなど）へ還元し、継続的に育てていく仕組みづくり

Basic Qualifications:

- 商用アプリケーションの実装・リリース・運用の実務経験3年以上
- 本番アプリケーションの開発経験（パッケージ管理、型チェック、テストを含む）
- 本番環境で使うコンテナイメージの作成・運用経験（Dockerfile の作成、ミドルウェアの導入など）
- Kubernetes クラスタのバージョンアップや、Argo CD / Helm / Kustomize を用いた GitOps の運用経験
- AWS または Google Cloud のいずれかを深く理解し、本番環境のインフラを構築・運用した経験
- メトリクス・ログ・トレースなどを用いた障害対応や、システム改善の経験
- 冪等性やリトライを考慮したバッチ・非同期処理の設計・運用経験
- コーディングエージェントを用いた開発経験と、AI 活用への高い意欲
- 自分が書いたコードが実行環境でどう動くかを理解し、障害に正面から向き合って、自ら手を動かして解決できること
- 基盤をつくること自体を目的にせず、プロダクトやビジネスへの価値を起点に優先順位をつけられること
- 技術的な理想と現実の折り合いをつけ、関係者と合意しながら物事を前に進められること
- 語学力: 日本語（ビジネスレベル以上）、英語（日常会話レベル以上）

Preferred Qualifications:

- 機械学習モデルの学習パイプライン、または推論サービスの本番運用経験
- LLM（Amazon Bedrock 上の Claude、Gemini など）を組み込んだアプリケーションの開発・運用経験、またはモデル移行の経験
- Argo Workflows や Airflow などのワークフローエンジンの運用経験
- SLI / SLO の設計・導入や、Datadog などを用いた可観測性の改善をリードした経験
- Terraform などを用いた IaC の経験
- 依存関係の更新やセキュリティパッチ適用の自動化（Renovate、Dependabot など）を導入・運用した経験
- ソフトウェアサプライチェーンのセキュリティ対策（依存関係やコンテナイメージの脆弱性管理、ビルド・リリース経路の保護など）や、クラウドの権限設計に取り組んだ経験
- 個人情報を含むデータを、保持期間や利用目的のルールに沿って扱う仕組みを設計・運用した経験
- GitHub Actions などを用いた CI / CD やリリースエンジニアリングの改善経験
- AI エージェントを用いた運用の自動化（障害調査の支援、トイルの削減など）を実践した経験
- AI エージェント向けの指示書（AGENTS.md など）や lint・テストを整備し、エージェントの作業品質を継続的に高めた経験
- Amazon SageMaker や Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform（旧 Vertex AI）などの ML プラットフォームの利用・運用経験
- BigQuery や Amazon Athena などを使ったデータパイプラインの構築・運用経験
