Reporting to the Sr. Director of Pricing & Monetization, you'll partner across Consumer Growth, Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Engineering to prioritize the initiatives that maximize revenue, customer lifetime value, and long-term business growth. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future monetization strategy for an integrated Udemy and Coursera consumer business. ## What you’ll be doing - Evolve the consumer monetization strategy across Marketplace, Subscription, and future integrated product offerings. - Lead commercial planning, prioritization, and operating cadence across pricing, promotions, lifecycle marketing, packaging, and retention initiatives. - Establish business performance reviews, forecasting processes, and commercial diagnostics that inform executive decision-making. - Partner with Consumer Growth, Product, Marketing, Pricing, Analytics, Finance, and Engineering to identify and prioritize the highest-impact revenue opportunities. - Evaluate tradeoffs across conversion, ARPU, customer lifetime value, retention, profitability, and long-term growth. - Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the Monetization organization. ## What you’ll have - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. - 8–10+ years of experience in strategy, monetization, consulting, pricing, growth, ecommerce, SaaS, or consumer technology. - Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives with measurable business impact. - Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and align multiple organizations around complex decisions. - Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. - Experience managing high-performing teams and developing talent. - Excellent executive communication and presentation skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy.
