## Job description

[Mr D](https://www.mrdfood.com/), a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a highly talented Retail Account Manager to join our teams in Cape Town.

This position reports to the Sales Regional Lead for Mr D.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identify and prioritise suitable partners for the Mr D platform
- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Own the partner sign-up process
- Operate as the lead point of contact for shops partners
- Strengthen relationships with partners and monitor their business and store performance
- Ensure timeous and effective solutions and feedback to partners
- Ensure strict partner visit standards are maintained
- Source promotions from partners that align with business objectives
- Deliver against hub and regional advertising goals
- Educate partners on available advertising tools and ensure uptake across a portfolio of partners

Qualifications:

- Experience in marketplace, ecommerce SAAS or retail sales
- Minimum 2 year Prior sales experience
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (Not essential)
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Not essential)
- Tertiary qualification (Not essential)
