We're building America's national imaging network: the infrastructure that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. Thousands of patients move through our platform every day, and each is a real person waiting for an answer to a healthcare concern. We exist to get them that answer faster. We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo. We’re looking for a National Sales Executive (Workers’ Compensation) at an exciting time — we’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $100m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY. Millions of people wait too long for a diagnosis. Come help us fix that. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THIS ROLE: As a National Sales Executive, you will own a national book of business and lead full-cycle sales across key Workers’ Compensation segments. You will build and nurture senior stakeholder relationships, sell consultatively, and bring market feedback back into the business so we can continue to sharpen our product and go-to-market approach. As a scaleup business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in: - Revenue generation and pipeline development: Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts across payers, TPAs, self-insured employers, and managed care organizations. Build and manage a robust pipeline with defined targets tied to revenue milestones. - Strategic account management: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including claims directors, medical directors, VP-level operations leaders, and C-suite stakeholders. Understand each account’s goals and pain points (claims costs, medical utilization, return-to-work outcomes) and position solutions accordingly. - Consultative selling and solution design: Serve as a subject matter expert in Workers’ Compensation workflows, regulatory environments, and care pathways. Tailor proposals and presentations that connect solutions to measurable outcomes, such as reduced claim duration, lower litigation rates, and faster speed to care. - Market intelligence and competitive positioning: Stay current on industry trends, state-specific regulatory shifts, network dynamics, and competitor offerings. Share insights with leadership to inform roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy. - Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Strategy, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Legal/Compliance to ensure what is sold can be delivered. Support implementation handoffs, pilot design, and contract negotiations, including cooperative services agreements and SLAs. - Industry presence and thought leadership: Represent [Scan.com](http://Scan.com) at national conferences (e.g., NWCDC, RIMS, WCI) and state-specific comp forums. Build a strong network within the WC ecosystem to generate inbound interest and referral relationships. - Reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM data, deliver pipeline and forecast updates to leadership, and track KPIs including conversion rate, deal velocity, average contract value, and account retention. WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE: You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value: - Experience owning full-cycle enterprise or mid-market sales, from outbound prospecting through close. - Familiarity with the Workers’ Compensation ecosystem, including common buyer personas, workflows, and regulatory considerations. - Familiarity with the role diagnostic Imaging plays in the injured worker care continuum. - Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to translate operational pain points into clear, outcome-based solutions. - Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders and navigating multi-threaded sales processes. - Comfort working cross-functionally to shape pilots, implementation plans, and contract terms. - Structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline. ## AI REQUIREMENTS At [Scan.com](http://Scan.com), AI isn't a side project; it's how we work. We expect everyone to use AI to think faster, remove drudgery, and multiply their output. What we care about is judgment: knowing when AI makes you sharper, when it doesn't, and how to use it responsibly around patient data. We'll assess this in the way that matters for this role, using the tier below. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to reach for the best tool and get more done as a result. Tier 2 — For this role, you're expected to be AI-Amplified. AI is part of your daily workflow for drafting, analysis, and research, and you know how to check its output and use it responsibly with sensitive data. (most commercial, marketing, finance, people, and G&A roles) One assessment principle across all tiers: we're testing judgment and adaptability, not whether you've memorized today's tools. Tools change quarterly; the ability to learn and apply them is what compounds. ## A VIEW ON OUR CULTURE We're building something that matters. Every scan we speed up is a real person waiting on an answer, and that urgency runs through everything we do. We move fast, we own outcomes, and take pride in our output. If you like ambiguity, working with ambitious people, and want your work to visibly move the needle, you'll feel at home here. ## HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU: We keep our interview process short and sweet. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order depending on team availability: - 30-minute introductory phone call with a member of our Talent Team. - If it feels like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs. - 'Scan Standard' interview, where our panel screens for values alignment and the success factors that matter at [Scan.com](http://Scan.com). You will also be assessed on your AI fluency at the stage and depth relevant to your role (see AI Requirements above). - Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether in person or via video call. - Offer! ## WHAT WE OFFER We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here’s what you can expect from us: - Salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 + Commission - Equity - Flexible remote or hybrid work options - Dedicated personal development budget - Medical, vision, and dental coverage - 28+ days of paid time off across PTO and wellbeing days, so you can show up at your best - Paid parental leave - 401k retirement plan - All the equipment you need to do your best work - Inclusive, people-first policies designed by our team, for our team DIVERSITY AT [SCAN.COM](http://Scan.com) [Scan.com](http://Scan.com) is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity within our team. We strive to provide equality and fairness for all job applicants and employees and never discriminate on the basis of gender, marital status, age, race, ethnicity, religion, or physical differences. Our ambition is for our team to be representative of society's diversity, and for every employee to feel respected and able to bring their best selves to work. Includes 24/7 concierge care and transport support. - **[Provider Platform (Provider-facing SaaS)**: A platform for imaging centers (radiologists, hospitals) to manage bookings, reduce administrative friction, and fill unused capacity. - **[Payer Solutions (for Insurers)**: Technology and network access to reduce costs, improve patient compliance, and streamline prior authorization for diagnostic imaging. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly disclosed. - **Key Metric (Funding)**: Total funding of **$117 million** across multiple rounds. The largest round was a **$50 million Series B (and a separate venture round of $50M) in late 2023**, led by Aviva Ventures. Other notable rounds include a $12M Series A in April 2023 and $2.5M Pre-Seed in 2021. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Aviva Ventures (Lead), YZR Capital, Oxford Capital, Lopo Champalimaud (founder/ex-CEO of Treatwell). The company is backed by "some of the world’s leading healthcare and technology investors." - **Growth Signals**: - **Scaled over 200,000 patients scanned** and has a network of 200+ providers globally. - **Strong market position**: Built the UK’s largest marketplace for self-pay MRI scans and is now expanding into the US market. - **Workforce growth**: Active headcount of 140 employees, with a **yearly growth rate of +24.3%** (LinkedIn, Feb 2026). - **High demand**: Continues to have multiple open positions across Engineering, Operations, and Sales. ## Competitive Advantages - **Network Effects**: A true two-sided marketplace that connects patients (demand) with imaging centers (supply). As more patients use the platform, more providers want to join, and vice-versa. - **Market Opportunity**: Tackling a massive, fragmented, and outdated $500B+ global market for diagnostic imaging. The company is modernizing a system that is slow, opaque, and inefficient. - **First-Mover & Data Moat**: As the largest marketplace in the UK, they possess unique data on pricing, capacity, and patient behavior that competitors lack. - **Full-Stack Solution**: They are not just a booking app; they are integrating the entire ecosystem (patient, provider, payer, technology) to solve the core infrastructure problem. ## Strategic Focus - **US Market Expansion**: The primary strategic focus. After proving the marketplace model in the UK, the company is aggressively scaling its US operations, as evidenced by recent US-based hires (e.g., Head of Supply (US)) and job listings for US-based roles (e.g., Account Manager, Network Partnerships Manager). - **Product Depth**: Moving beyond a simple self-pay marketplace into a full enterprise platform for payers and large healthcare systems. The focus is on building the "platform that modern diagnostic imaging has been waiting for." - **Payer Integration**: Deepening relationships with insurance companies and payers to integrate the platform into the "standard" cost and care pathway, not just the self-pay channel. ## Why Work Here - **Mission-Driven**: The company explicitly ties its work to saving lives and improving health outcomes, which is a strong motivator for mission-aligned talent. - **Flexibility-First Culture**: The company describes itself as "flexibility-first". The careers page states: "What you do matters - not when or where you do it." They allow hybrid and remote work across the UK and US, with **no clock-watching**. The team includes "office lovers, home workers, early birds, night owls, parents, carers...". - **Comprehensive Benefits**: - 28 days annual leave + "wellness duvet days". - Medical and dental cover + discounted scans. - Free, confidential therapy via a mental health platform. - **£50/$50 monthly wellness budget**. - **Generous, gender-neutral parental and family leave** (including miscarriage leave). - Co-created career roadmaps, regular peer reviews, and a learning & development budget. - **People-First Culture**: The careers page emphasizes seeing candidates as a "whole self," values diversity, and invites candidates to "interview us." Their motto "Your best self is your whole self" is central to their hiring. - **Growth Trajectory**: The company is growing at 24% YoY headcount and is in a scaling phase, offering significant career progression opportunities for early and mid-career professionals. ## Sources 1.
