Our capabilities include Software Development, Engineering & IT, Data Science, Cyber Enablement, Logistics, and Training. Founded in 2019, Swift supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and around the globe. We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Open‑Source Intelligence (OSINT) Instructor to deliver a focused 4‑hour instructional block within our training program. This part‑time, 1099 contractor role is ideal for an individual with practical OSINT experience who can clearly demonstrate how publicly available information and unsecured social media accounts can unintentionally compromise individuals and their families. The instructor will explain how adversaries and other actors can leverage open‑source methods to collect sensitive personal information, as well as how students can safeguard their digital presence. The session will include real‑world examples, demonstrations of common OSINT tools, and, when appropriate and with consent, a basic, non‑sensitive OSINT walk‑through of a volunteer’s online footprint. An active security clearance is preferred but not required. Prior OSINT, digital footprint analysis, or protective intelligence experience is highly beneficial. ## Responsibilities - Deliver a 4‑hour OSINT training block to students with varying levels of technical and operational background. - Explain how publicly available information, digital behavior, and unsecured social media accounts can expose sensitive details about individuals and their families. - Demonstrate how adversaries or unknown actors may use OSINT techniques to research routines, locations, relationships, and daily activities. - Provide real‑world examples illustrating risks associated with unsecured online presence. - Introduce and demonstrate commonly used OSINT tools for responsible, legally compliant research and analysis. - Deliver instruction in a clear, accessible manner suitable for both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Support course objectives by reinforcing key digital security and risk‑mitigation principles. Required Qualifications - Demonstrated professional experience with Open‑Source Intelligence (OSINT), digital footprint analysis, online investigations, or a related discipline. - Prior experience delivering technical, operational, intelligence, or protective‑security training. - Ability to explain OSINT concepts in a clear and practical way for diverse audiences. - Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills. - Familiarity with commonly used OSINT platforms, tools, and collection methodologies. - Ability to responsibly demonstrate OSINT techniques while maintaining ethical, legal, and privacy considerations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to adapt instruction to the audience’s experience level and course learning goals. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience providing training in operational security (OPSEC), digital hygiene, or protective intelligence. - Familiarity with real‑world case studies illustrating the risks of unsecured online activity. - Active security clearance (preferred but not required). ## #LI-BS1 #Onsite ## About Swift ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: The Swift Group provides national security technology and mission support by combining experienced field operatives with expert technologists. - **Entity Type**: Private (no disclosed funding stage) - **Headquarters**: Reston, VA, USA - **Founded**: 2019 - **Founders**: Not publicly disclosed ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: National security, defense, intelligence, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, training and logistics. - **Target customers**: U.S. Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community agencies (B2G). - **Mission or purpose statement**: “When national security leaders need something built quiet that hits loud, they turn to Swift.” — The company pairs field operators with technologists to solve complex national security challenges with speed, discretion, and precision. ## Products & Services For each major offering: - **HPC Research & Technical Advisement**: Specialized advisement for revolutionary high-performance computing systems supporting data-intensive missions. - **Software Development & Data Solutions**: Rapid prototyping, agile development, and applied data science tailored to mission needs. - **Cyber Enablement**: Network defense, offense, threat analysis, and resilience for enterprise and operational environments. - **Operations**: Mission planning and execution support delivered shoulder-to-shoulder with client teams anywhere in the world. - **Training & Mission Support**: Operator-led instruction and technical training across the full mission lifecycle. - **Energetics**: Advanced research, advisory, and deployment of energetic materials to improve system performance and operational effect. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not publicly disclosed (privately held). - **Key Metric**: Over **126 open positions** currently listed on the careers page, signaling rapid growth. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Not publicly disclosed. - **Growt Signals**: Founded in 2019, now has multiple offices (Reston, Annapolis Junction, Chantilly, McLean, etc.) and supports customers across the U.S. and globally.
