Terawatt is the leader in delivering large scale, turnkey charging solutions for companies rapidly deploying AV and EV fleets. Whether it’s an urban mobility hub, or a carefully located multi-fleet hub for semi-trucks, Terawatt brings the talent, capabilities, and capital to create reliable, cost-effective solutions for customers on the leading edge of the transition to the next generation of transport. With a growing portfolio of sites across the US in urban hubs and along key logistics and transportation corridors. Terawatt is building the permanent transportation and logistics infrastructure of tomorrow through a robust combination of capital, real estate, development, and site operations solutions. The company develops, finances, owns, and operates charging solutions that take the cost and complexity out of electrifying fleets. ## Our Values Six core values guide how we work: commitments we make to each other. Our pace is set by a simple conviction: imperfect action beats perfect inaction, so we move with purpose, adapt without ego, and measure ourselves by progress rather than activity. Ownership travels with autonomy. Your name is on the work, and the best answer wins the conversation, wherever it lives. That candor works because of what surrounds it: people who show up with intention and have each other's back, tough on ideas and generous with people. Our customers feel this as reliability earned daily, every interaction treated as a chance to build something lasting. And underneath it all is why the work matters. The climate doesn't wait, and the stakes are also human: behind every checklist and every inspection is a person going home safely. We call it "This work has a heartbeat” — it's what the other five rest on. ## Role Description Terawatt is building the infrastructure that enables the rapid scaling of electric vehicle adoption nationwide. As the Operations & Facility Program Manager, you will own program and project management activities across Terawatt's operation sites — from pre-commercial acceptance through sustained, mature operation — including site acceptance, customer success, and equipment and facilities operations and maintenance. This role sits at the intersection of operational excellence and facilities stewardship. You will bring strong critical thinking, quantitative fluency, and cross-functional communication skills to manage complex, multi-site programs — balancing project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder needs while driving continuous improvement across Terawatt's charging network. Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations, this role works in close collaboration with site and field operations teams. Core Responsibilities Operations: - Define and implement unified processes that enable project owners to hit milestones, manage budgets, and quickly mitigate risks — supporting the successful launch of Terawatt's charging sites - Establish and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for all Terawatt charging sites from pre-commercial through sustained operation - Conduct risk assessments across strategic, technical, financial, and operational dimensions — formulating corrective actions and escalating potential issues to leadership when appropriate - Support vendor requests for proposal (RFP) development, ensuring proposals are structured for clear comparison and actionable decision-making - Develop and drive continuous improvement strategies across all operational activities to achieve cost efficiency and a high standard of service from internal teams and external vendors - Forecast demand on internal and third-party resources, identifying strategies to balance workload and ensure timely delivery of key milestones - Maintain clear, consistent communications across Management, Product, Sales, Finance, Technology, and Development teams Factilities: - Partner with project managers and contractors on the planning and execution of site-related projects, including facility expansions, renovations, and safety enhancements - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines, including emergency preparedness protocols - Oversee security measures across Terawatt's sites, including coordination with security vendors - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards covering facility maintenance, landscaping, security, parking, and waste management ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field - 3–5 years of experience in project or facilities management in one or more of the following industries: renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, clean energy, power grids, or fleet and freight logistics - Experience across the full project development lifecycle, including site acquisition, design, permitting, utility provisioning, procurement, contracting, and commissioning - Demonstrated project management skills with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities - Working knowledge of facility maintenance programs and procedures, including safety, security, janitorial services, and landscaping - Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, and relevant health, safety, and compliance standards - Ability to work independently, make timely decisions, and coordinate across teams to drive optimal outcomes - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously ## Preferred Qualifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (CAPM, PRINCE2) - Familiarity with EVSE hardware, charging network operations, or utility interconnection processes - Experience managing multi-site facility portfolios across multiple states or regions - Experience with vendor contract negotiation and third-party SLA management Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets, and these ranges are intended to provide a helpful reference. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s location, skills, level of expertise and experience, and internal equity considerations. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and, where applicable, performance-based incentives. We are building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. At Terawatt, we continuously strive to foster inclusion, humility, energizing relationships, and belonging, and welcome new ideas. We're growing and want you to grow with us.
