Oracle Fusion Data Conversion Consultant (Functional and Technical)

Working alongside Tessera Labs' Mosaic AI Agents

Location: US East Coast Remote: Yes Engagement type: Fixed-term contract (initial 3 to 6 months), full-time capacity, with possibility of extension Start date: Immediate (November) Openings: 3 (Financials; Procurement; Projects and Time and Labor) Engagement model: Senior data conversion role working with Tessera Labs' Forward Deployed Engineers and Mosaic AI agents, under the direction of the on-site Oracle Data Migration Architect. Requires a structured daily overlap window with US Eastern business hours for live collaboration with the delivery team and client.

## Role Summary

We are seeking hands-on Oracle Fusion data conversion consultants for a multi-release conversion from PeopleSoft and other legacy finance systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud, for a large US financial services client. This is not a configuration role. We need people who have converted data into Oracle Fusion: who understand what each FBDI field means functionally, can validate mappings with finance SMEs, resolve load errors and reconcile results. Tessera's platform and AI agents handle extraction, transformation and loading at scale; you make sure the data is right in Oracle terms. Three openings, one per area: (1) Financials: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, chart of accounts; (2) Procurement and Payables: suppliers, bank accounts, contracts, CPA and BPA, requisitions, purchase orders, receipts and invoices, including contingent workers; (3) Projects (PPM) and Time and Labor (OTL).

## Key Responsibilities

1. Mapping and Business Rules (35%)

- Validate and complete source-to-target mappings from PeopleSoft and other sources to Oracle Fusion for your area.
- Define value mappings, defaults and data quality rules, and review mappings drafted by Mosaic AI agents.
- Work with client finance SMEs to confirm mappings and exception decisions.

1. FBDI Files, Loads and Errors (30%)

- Prepare and check FBDI files for each mock conversion cycle.
- Analyse load errors in Oracle Fusion terms and drive fixes in mapping, data or sequencing.
- Support test loads and full-volume loads in each release window.

1. Reconciliation and Sign-off (25%)

- Reconcile converted data to legacy by counts and balances, to the client's exit criteria for each mock.
- Prepare reconciliation evidence and explain differences to finance users.
- Support business validation and sign-off.

1. AI Agent Collaboration (10%)

- Give Mosaic AI agents the functional context they need, and correct gaps or misreadings in AI output before it reaches the client.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years in Oracle ERP with at least 2 Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversions in your area.
- Strong functional understanding of the Oracle Fusion data model for your area (Financials, Procurement, or Projects and OTL).
- Hands-on FBDI experience, including load error resolution.
- Reconciliation experience with finance users.
- PeopleSoft or Oracle EBS as a conversion source.
- Good SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Clear business English and a disciplined daily overlap with US Eastern hours.

## Preferred Qualifications

- PeopleSoft Financials source experience specifically.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience with automated or AI-assisted data conversion tooling.
- Oracle Cloud certification in your area.
