## Job description

We're looking for a Payroll/HR Administrator to support the International Payroll Team to ensure monthly Japan payroll tasks are completed internally and externally, support Japan employee payroll questions, validate payroll vendor outputs and proactively review/resolve discrepancies.

- Run monthly reports from Workday.
- Connect with Japan employees regarding submission of new hire documents.
- Monitor Payroll portal to ensure all tasks are completed and/or follow up with employees with missing information.
- Coordinate with local payroll vendors to resolve employee inquiries relating to updating information or inhabitant tax changes.
- Hold Office Hours weekly for Payroll issues and physical documentation collection at year-end
- Validate employee banking changes and ensure proper payroll payments.
- Support Japanese-language employee communication and reduce back-and-forth translation or clarification burden.
- Document procedures
- Work with local Japanese authorities to resolve issues.

Relevant Skills

- 4-7 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience in HR or Payroll functions
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Proficient with Excel
- Speaks English and Japanese
- Nice to have: experience with Workday
