## Job description

Deine Mission & Herausforderungen Du verantwortest das Board — vom ersten Schaltplan bis zur Produktionsfreigabe. NEURA Robotics entwickelt unterschiedlichste Robotiksysteme mit Leistungselektronik, High-Speed-Digitalinterfaces, präziser Analogsensorik und hochdichten Mixed-Signal-Layouts — alles auf kleinstem Raum. Wir suchen jemanden, der eine PCBA von der ersten Idee bis zum DFM-konformen Serienprodukt begleitet und jeden Schritt dazwischen verantwortet. Du arbeitest direkt mit Hardware-, Firmware- und Mechanical-Engineers zusammen, bringst neue Boards schnell zum Laufen und sorgst dafür, dass sie skalierbar produzierbar werden.

Schematic Design

- Entwickle komplexe Multi-Sheet-Schaltpläne in Altium Designer:
- Power-Stages
- Mikrocontroller- & SoC-Support-Schaltungen
- Sensorinterfaces (IMU, Encoder, ToF, taktile Sensorik)
- Motor-Drive-Gate-Stages
- Kommunikationsbusse wie CAN-FD, EtherCAT, SPI, I²C oder USB

PCB Layout

- Designe 4–16-Lagen-PCBs mit Fokus auf:
- Signal Integrity
- Power Integrity
- EMV-konformes Routing
- Thermisches Management
- Mixed-Signal-Partitionierung
- Arbeite mit impedanzkontrolliertem Routing und High-Current-Copper-Pours.

Design Verification

- Führe DRC/ERC-Prüfungen durch und erstelle Pre-/Post-Layout-SI/PI-Simulationen.
- Organisiere Design-Reviews gemeinsam mit Firmware- und Systems-Engineering-Teams.

## NPI & DFM

- Erstelle und verantworte vollständige Fertigungsdokumentationen:
- Gerber/ODB++
- Assembly Drawings
- BoMs
- IPC-konforme Fertigungsdokumente
- Arbeite direkt mit PCB-Fertigern und EMS-/CM-Partnern zusammen, um Designs für die Serienproduktion zu qualifizieren.

Bring-up & Debugging

- Leite das Board-Bring-up im Labor mit Oszilloskopen, Logikanalysatoren und Netzwerkanalysatoren.
- Analysiere und behebe Hardwareprobleme end-to-end — von Power Rails bis High-Speed-Digital-Signalen.

Component Qualification

- Wähle Komponenten aus, spezifiere und qualifiziere sie.
- Manage Lifecycle-Risiken wie EOL, lange Lieferzeiten oder Second Sources.
- Pflege die Approved Vendor List (AVL) gemeinsam mit dem Einkauf.

Prototype to Series Transition

- Treibe Designiterationen durch DVT-/PVT-Phasen voran.
- Unterstütze PCBA-Testentwicklung (ICT, Functional Test Fixtures) sowie Fehleranalysen und Corrective Actions gemeinsam mit Quality Engineering.

Documentation & Standards

- Pflege saubere, versionskontrollierte Design-Daten in unserem PDM-/PLM-System.
- Stelle die Einhaltung relevanter Standards sicher (IPC-2221, IPC-7711, CE/EMV, RoHS/REACH).

Was du mitbringst Du kennst Boards bis ins Detail — und fühlst dich in schnellen Hardwarezyklen wohl. Du bist ein praxisorientierter Electrical Engineer mit starkem Fokus auf PCB-Design und Erfahrung darin, komplexe Boards bis zur Serienreife zu bringen. Du fühlst dich sowohl im Schaltplaneditor als auch mit dem Lötkolben in der Hand zuhause — und du entwickelst nicht nur funktionierende Hardware, sondern produzierbare Hardware.

- Bachelor oder Master in Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Mechatronik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Bereich.
- 3+ Jahre Erfahrung im PCB-/PCBA-Design inklusive Verantwortung über vollständige Entwicklungszyklen — vom Schaltplan bis zur Produktionsfreigabe.
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Altium Designer (Schaltplanerstellung, Layout, DRC/ERC, Output-Generierung) oder vergleichbaren CAD-Tools.
- Erfahrung mit Mixed-Signal-Boards:
- Leistungselektronik (SMPS, LDOs, BMS, Motor Drives)
- High-Speed-Digitaldesign (DDR, SerDes, HF-Clocks)
- empfindliche Analog-/Sensor-Frontends auf einem gemeinsamen Board
- Fundiertes Verständnis von EMV-Designprinzipien: Grounding, Shielding, Filtering, Return Paths und Pre-Compliance-Testmethoden.
- Hands-on-Erfahrung in DFM/DFA: Panelisierung, Via-in-Pad, Press-Fit, Selective Soldering, SMT/THT-Mixed-Assembly sowie IPC Class 2/3.
