We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused People Operations & Engagement Specialist at Innatera. You’ll help create a smooth, reliable and engaging employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. We will trust you with: You’ll combine strong People Operations with employee engagement: making sure our core processes run accurately and consistently, while helping employees feel informed, connected and supported as Innatera grows. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both getting the details right and making the employee experience better. Key pillars of ownership: Employee Experience & Engagement - Help build a consistent employee experience across both onsite and remote employees. - Own and coordinate recurring employee engagement activities and initiatives. - Own internal People communications, so employees know what is happening, why it matters and what is expected from them. - Coordinate company events, team-building activities, recognition moments and wellbeing initiatives. - Gather employee feedback and turn recurring themes into practical improvements. - Identify friction points across the employee journey and proactively improve them. People Operations & Employee Lifecycle - Manage day-to-day People Operations across onboarding, employment changes, benefits, absence and offboarding. - Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters, employee documentation and personnel records. - Support payroll through accurate monthly changes, checks and coordination with Finance and external providers. - Coordinate benefits, pension, commuting arrangements and other employee programmes. - Coordinate immigration, relocation and 30% ruling processes. - Support administration for remote employees and EOR arrangements. - Act as a reliable first point of contact for employee questions. - Maintain accurate employee data across People systems and documentation. - Support absence and sick-leave administration in coordination with managers, the PBP and external providers. - Help ensure our People Operations remain compliant with Dutch employment requirements and data-protection standards. Processes, Systems & Improvement - Continuously improve People processes, workflows and documentation as Innatera scales. - Help simplify and automate repetitive People Operations work where possible. - Maintain and improve People systems and tools. - Use People data to identify operational or employee-experience issues and support better decision-making. - Create clear documentation and ways of working that reduce dependency on individual team members. - Contribute to broader P&C projects where operational or employee-experience expertise is needed. What you’ll need to succeed: - Around 3-5 years of relevant People Operations / HR experience, ideally within an international, growing organisation. - Genuinely enjoys working with people and cares about their experience. - Clear, approachable communication style. - Strong ownership mentality: you identify what needs doing and follow it through. - Organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently. - Strong problem-solving skills and good judgement. - Practical experience with the Dutch employee lifecycle, HR documentation and employment-related administration. - Extremely reliable and detail-oriented - contracts, payroll inputs and employee data need to be right. - Comfortable improving processes rather than simply following existing ones. - Comfortable working with HR systems, spreadsheets and digital tools. - Able to handle confidential information with discretion. - Fluent English.
