The “solutions” (think coffee, energy drinks, and even a friend’s Rx) were mediocre at best and frankly, made no sense to us. So, we created Thesis, the world’s first customized nootropics company. If you’ve never heard that word before, it’s just a fancy way of saying brain supplements. In five years, most will be taking nootropics on the daily and chances are, they’ll be ours. With an exceptional efficacy rate, the world has taken notice - we've raised over $14M in venture capital, garnered interest from leading neuroscientists and athletes, and established ourselves as an industry-leading brand. We partner with exceptional independent creative talent to help us share the gift of enhanced cognitive function with the world. The Opportunity We're looking for a Performance Creative Project Manager to own the operational execution of that department — making sure projects, people, and resources move efficiently from kickoff through launch. This role owns the systems, workflows, and coordination that let us produce creative work at scale: capacity planning, project management, resource allocation, and cross-functional communication, all in service of delivering high-quality work on time while maintaining operational excellence. You'll serve as the operational backbone of the department — continuously improving processes, eliminating bottlenecks, and building the structure that lets our creative teams perform at their highest level. What You’ll Own: - Department capacity planning, project assignment, and resource allocation - Production scheduling and workflow management from kickoff to launch - Cross-functional communication with Strategy, Paid Media, and Product Marketing - Office operations, equipment, and prop inventory - SOPs, workflow optimization, and operational documentation - Task compliance and process consistency across the department What You’ll Do: Project & Production Management - Assign creative work across editors, designers, creators, and production teams based on capacity, priorities, and business needs - Monitor project progress to keep launches on schedule and coordinate timelines from kickoff through final delivery - Balance workloads across the department to maximize efficiency while preventing resource constraints Capacity & Resource Planning - Own department capacity planning and proactively adjust assignments as priorities shift - Spot staffing or resource constraints before they impact production, and recommend hiring or contractor support Operational Excellence - Develop and maintain department SOPs, workflows, and operational standards - Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements - Maintain operational visibility across every active project and initiative Cross-Functional Coordination - Serve as the primary operational liaison between Performance Creative and cross-functional partners - Coordinate timelines, priorities, and deliverables with Strategy, Paid Media, Product Marketing, and Operations - Facilitate smooth handoffs between teams to eliminate delays and friction Department Operations - Own day-to-day operations of the Performance Creative office and equipment inventory (cameras, lighting, mics, computers, and more) - Coordinate purchasing, organization, and replenishment of production equipment, props, and supplies - Partner with Finance and Operations on equipment budgeting, maintenance, and replacement planning Process Compliance - Ensure adherence to naming conventions, tagging, file organization, and workflow standards - Monitor task completion and hold the team accountable to established processes ## What We Need - You have 4–6+ years in creative operations, marketing operations, production, or project management - 2+ years owning high-volume creative or marketing workflows — DTC, performance marketing, agency, or startup experience preferred - Proven track record with capacity planning, resource allocation, production scheduling, and workload balancing - Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams — editors, designers, creators, strategists, and contractors - A history of building SOPs, improving workflows, and eliminating operational bottlenecks - Advanced proficiency with project-management tools such as Notion and Google Suite - Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort managing competing priorities - Bonus: experience with production equipment/studio operations, paid social or performance creative workflows, and people management ## How We Work Together - Collaboration: We’re a collaborative team that cares much more about the quality and impact of your work than where you’re sitting or how many hours you’re staring at your screen. - Slack: Our home base for communication, collaboration, quick feedback, and an appropriate amount of GIFs and memes. - Team Calls: Regular check-ins keep everyone connected and aligned, along with opportunities to collaborate directly with our Creative and Growth teams. - Team Hours: We ask everyone to have at least 3 hours of overlap each day so we can collaborate live when needed. Outside of that, you’ll have flexibility in how you structure your day. - Freedom + Accountability: No screen monitoring. No time tracking. No micromanagement. We trust talented people to do great work and hold themselves accountable. - Performance Matters: Ultimately, we care about making exceptional creative that performs at scale. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, learn quickly, and continuously improve how we work. ## About Thesis ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Thesis develops data-driven, personalized nootropic formulas to enhance cognitive function—focus, motivation, memory, and stress resilience—through rigorous testing and iterative formulation. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series A, raised $18.7M total) - **Headquarters**: New York, NY, United States - **Founded**: 2017 - **Founders**: Adam Greenfeld, Dan Freed ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Wellness and Fitness Services (nootropics / cognitive supplements) - **Target customers**: B2C, direct-to-consumer (DTC) health-conscious individuals seeking improved mental performance - **Mission or purpose**: “Pioneering a new wave of nootropics through data-driven formulations, iterative testing, and a relentless commitment to results.” ## Products & Services - **Nootropic Formulas (Clarity, Stress Reset, Neuroprotection, etc.)**: Customizable stacks of isolated, plant-derived compounds targeting specific cognitive outcomes such as focus, motivation, memory, and stress.
