This is a senior, hands-on individual-contributor role for a product leader who is strongest in consumer product experiences and also understands what it takes to build those experiences as reusable enterprise solutions. You will own the complete product—from how consumers discover and engage with educational content to how the same product is configured, embedded, measured, and scaled across multiple Gen brands and enterprise partners. You will work closely with Enterprise Product leadership to ensure the Content Hub is built with the right multi-tenant architecture, integration model, attribution, configurability, and operational foundations. You do not need to be an infrastructure specialist or former engineer, but you must be technically fluent enough to make sound product decisions with Engineering and understand how consumer-experience choices affect enterprise scalability. The right person combines excellent consumer-product judgment with strong execution, analytical rigor, and the ability to lead through influence. You will have dedicated Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Content partners and will be accountable for turning a broad cross-functional vision into a coherent product that ships, performs, and scales. ## What You’ll Own - The end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Enterprise Content Hub, including the consumer experience, shared content library, enterprise distribution model, and future product expansion. - The complete consumer journey across discovery, topic navigation, article consumption, bookmarks, recommendations, personalization, related content, and contextual product offers. - The product systems and workflows that make a shared Contentful-based library usable across tenants, while partnering with Content on editorial strategy, taxonomy, governance, and content production. - A reusable, multi-tenant product experience that can support MoneyLion, Norton Money, other Gen brands, and external enterprise partners without becoming a series of one-off implementations. - Product requirements and prioritization across native and web embeds, tenant configuration, white-label styling, content eligibility, rules, user state, analytics, attribution, experimentation, and Engine integration. - The operating model for onboarding new tenants and content strategies in partnership with Enterprise Product, Content, Partner Solutions, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance. - The measurement framework for consumer engagement, content performance, NPS and brand impact, tenant adoption, product reliability, onboarding efficiency, and incremental Engine revenue. - Roadmap tradeoffs across consumer value, enterprise reusability, speed to market, technical complexity, commercial opportunity, and long-term maintainability. ## What You’ll Do - Define and communicate a clear product vision for the Enterprise Content Hub as both a differentiated consumer experience and a scalable enterprise product. - Lead discovery with consumers, internal Gen brands, Content, Analytics, Partner Solutions, and Enterprise Product stakeholders to identify the highest-value problems and opportunities. - Translate product strategy into clear requirements, user journeys, prioritized roadmaps, acceptance criteria, analytics plans, rollout strategies, and post-launch optimization. - Partner closely with Design to create a consumer-grade experience that feels intuitive, trustworthy, useful, and native within each tenant’s brand. - Work with Engineering to make informed decisions about SDK and web integration, multi-tenancy, configuration, Contentful models, analytics events, attribution, user state, personalization, and Engine connectivity. - Collaborate with Enterprise Product leadership to ensure the solution is easy to integrate, appropriately configurable, measurable by tenant, and designed to scale beyond the initial launch clients. - Partner with Content leadership to shape reusable content structures, topic taxonomies, content-distribution rules, editorial tooling, and the relationship between shared and tenant-specific content. - Use qualitative research and quantitative data to understand article discovery, reading completion, repeat engagement, bookmarks, recommendation quality, offer performance, and abandonment. - Establish a disciplined experimentation and learning agenda that improves engagement and monetization without compromising the product’s education-first principle. - Drive cross-functional execution from concept through launch, including backlog leadership, dependency management, QA, launch readiness, stakeholder communication, and post-launch measurement. - Communicate priorities, decisions, risks, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders across Consumer Product and Enterprise Product leadership. How Success Will Be Measured - Successful launch and adoption of the Enterprise Content Hub across MoneyLion and Norton Money, followed by expansion to additional Gen brands and external enterprise clients. - Strong consumer engagement, including article discovery, opens, reading completion, repeat usage, bookmarks, and meaningful interaction with personalized or recommended content. - Improvement in NPS, trust, or other brand-health measures on surfaces that embed the Content Hub. - Incremental Engine impressions, click-through, conversion, and revenue attributable to contextual placements within the Content Hub. - Reduced time, effort, and custom engineering required to onboard a new tenant or launch a new tenant-specific content strategy. - Effective reuse of content, product capabilities, analytics, and configuration across tenants and distribution surfaces. - Reliable attribution, tenant-level reporting, product performance, and operational visibility. - A clear roadmap that advances personalization, content intelligence, and enterprise scalability after the initial MVP. ## About You You are a senior product leader with strong consumer-product instincts and enough enterprise and technical fluency to build a consumer experience that can scale across partners. You care deeply about the details of the userexperience, but you also understand that an enterprise product must be configurable, measurable, reliable, and easy to integrate. You are comfortable taking ownership of a product that cuts across organizational boundaries. You can create clarity where requirements are still evolving, bring multiple teams to a decision, and move between strategic product questions and the practical work required to ship. You likely have: - 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of meaningful consumer-facing products or experiences. - Demonstrated success leading a complex product area as a senior individual contributor with substantial autonomy and cross-functional influence. - Strong consumer-product judgment across discovery, navigation, engagement, retention, personalization, recommendations, experimentation, and experience quality. - Experience working on products that serve multiple brands, clients, markets, platforms, or configurable experiences. - Sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively on SDKs, web embeds, APIs, CMS architecture, data models, event tracking, attribution, integrations, and engineering tradeoffs. - Strong analytical skills and experience defining success metrics, instrumentation, experiments, dashboards, and post-launch learning plans. - A track record of converting ambiguous strategy into clear roadmaps, product requirements, decisions, and shipped outcomes. - Excellent written and verbal communication with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Content, enterprise stakeholders, and executive leadership. - Strong prioritization and judgment, including the ability to balance consumer value, partner needs, speed, scalability, and technical simplicity. - Experience operating in a matrixed environment and leading through influence rather than formal authority. Preferred experience: - Content platforms, educational products, publishing systems, recommendations, discovery, media, marketplaces, or other engagement-driven consumer products. - Enterprise SaaS, white-label products, embedded experiences, multi-tenant products, or partner integrations. - Fintech, financial wellness, consumer financial products, embedded finance, or regulated consumer experiences. - Contentful or another headless CMS, including structured content models and multi-channel content distribution. - Personalization systems, recommendation models, experimentation platforms, or AI-enabled content experiences. - SQL or hands-on product analytics. Working Model - Reports directly to the GM & Head of Consumer Marketplace Product. - Dotted-line partnership with Enterprise Product leadership to ensure the product is architected and operated as an enterprise solution. - Dedicated Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Content support. - Based in the New York office, with in-office attendance required three days per week. - Senior individual-contributor role; no direct reports are required at launch. ## Why This Role Matters The Enterprise Content Hub is intended to become the shared product and content foundation through which Gen delivers financial education across brands, enterprise clients, and consumer surfaces. Its success depends on more than shipping an article experience. The product must be genuinely useful to consumers, flexible enough to serve distinct tenant strategies, and standardized enough to scale without recreating the experience for every partner. The Principal Product Manager will be the accountable product owner connecting those goals. The decisions made in this role will shape how consumers experience financial education, how quickly Gen can launch new tenants and distribution surfaces, how effectively content can be reused and personalized, and how education can create both consumer value and responsible marketplace growth. ## About Gen Digital Inc. ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Gen is a global leader in Cyber Safety, powering Digital Freedom through its trusted consumer brands Norton, Avast, LifeLock, and MoneyLion. - **Entity Type**: Public (ticker not confirmed in provided sources; refer to SEC filings) - **Headquarters**: Dual headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, United States, and Prague, Czech Republic - **Founded**: Not explicitly disclosed; the merged entity (Gen) was formed in 2022 following the combination of NortonLifeLock and Avast - **Founders**: Not publicly available for the merged company; predecessor brands were founded by Peter Norton (Norton) and Pavel Baudiš & Eduard Kučera (Avast) ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Cybersecurity (Cyber Safety), digital privacy, identity protection, and financial wellness - **Target customers**: B2C (individuals and families), with some B2B2C offerings for enterprises and institutions (breach response, employee benefits) - **Mission or purpose statement**: “Powering Digital Freedom” – giving people the confidence, tools, and insights to control, manage, and grow their digital and financial lives ## Products & Services - **Norton**: Award-winning cybersecurity, online privacy, and device protection for individuals and families (SaaS security suites, VPN, password manager, etc.) - **Avast**: AI-powered threat detection and digital security products focused on malware, privacy, and real-time protection (freemium model, top-ranked by industry experts) - **LifeLock**: Identity theft protection with proactive monitoring, alerts, and dedicated Identity Restoration Specialists (U.S. leader) - **MoneyLion**: Digital financial wellness platform offering Instacash, RoarMoney, Credit Builder Plus, and a marketplace for financial products (B2C and B2B2C) ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: Not provided in search results; as a publicly traded company, refer to SEC filings for current market cap - **Key Metric**: Nearly 500 million global users across the brand ecosystem; MoneyLion has processed $7.5B+ in transaction volume and served 81M+ users since launch - **Notable Investors/Partners**: No specific investors cited; the company partners with leading institutions for breach response, employee benefits, and identity protection - **Growth Signals**: - Total cyberattacks blocked in 2024 is a key metric (exact number not shared) - MoneyLion’s rapid growth in transaction volume and user base - Expanding from protection into financial wellness and AI-driven personalization ## Competitive Advantages - Family of trusted, globally recognized consumer brands (Norton #1 top-of-mind Cyber Safety brand, LifeLock leader in identity protection) - Deep visibility into a vast threat network (machine learning and AI across ~500M users) enables superior threat detection and personalization - Unique platform combining cybersecurity, privacy, identity restoration, and financial wellness – a “trust layer” for the digital economy - Dual HQ presence (U.S. and Europe) provides diverse talent and regulatory insight ## Strategic Focus - Building a unified AI-powered platform that delivers personalized, proactive, and automated Cyber Safety and financial empowerment - Deepening leadership in Cyber Safety while extending into financial wellness to compound lifetime customer value - Positioning Gen as the “trust layer” for the AI economy – bridging what AI can do and what consumers trust it to do - Expanding B2B2C partnerships (breach response, employee benefits, identity protection for institutions) ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Emphasizes collaboration, innovation, a giving mindset, and customer obsession.
