Our mission is to transform the fashion industry for a more sustainable future by empowering our community to promote the circular fashion movement. Vestiaire was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Paris with offices in London, Berlin, New York, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh and warehouses in Tourcoing (France), Crawley (UK), Hong Kong and Brooklyn, we combine the desirability of luxury with the trust and rigour that make buying pre-loved effortless and safe. We currently have a diverse global team of 600 employees representing more than 50 nationalities. Our values are Activism, Transparency, Dedication and Greatness and Collective. ## About Vestiaire Collective We are looking for a Principal Product Manager – Operations to lead our Operations Product team. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will report to the Chief Product Officer. ## Why this role matters Every purchase on Vestiaire Collective depends on an invisible machine working flawlessly — an item listed, authenticated, published, sold, and delivered, all with total trust. That machine is the product you'll own. Based in Ho Chi Minh City alongside our Engineering team, this is a hands-on, deep-scope IC role. You'll be the person the company trusts to crack its hardest operational problems — starting with two: Stopping fraudulent sellers without adding friction for the honest majority. Fraud is an existential trust problem for a marketplace; you'll own the strategy to detect bad actors early and defend our authentication promise — increasingly with AI. Creating imagery that delights buyers. In pre-loved luxury, the image is the product. You'll reimagine how we capture and present items so browsing feels as desirable as the pieces themselves. ## What you'll own The product vision and strategy for the operations, logistics and imagery ecosystem — end to end, from listing to delivery. Seller trust & fraud prevention: the detection, prevention and resolution systems that protect buyers and defend our authentication promise. Buyer-facing imagery & item presentation: how unique, second-hand items are captured, enhanced, and merchandised to be irresistible and trustworthy. The AI agenda for operations: where AI can step-change fraud detection, imagery generation/enhancement, catalog quality and operational speed — and shipping it, not slideware. Measurable outcomes: fraud/dispute rates, authentication quality and throughput, time-to-publish, listing conversion, and their line of sight to NPS. The architecture partnership with Engineering to build systems that scale with international growth. A culture of discovery — continuously testing against value, usability, feasibility and viability risks, and killing ideas that don't earn their place. ## Who you are 8+ years in product management, with deep experience in operations, logistics, trust & safety around e-commerce topics, or marketplace products — ideally in e-commerce or a two-sided platform. You've owned complex, end-to-end strategies and been accountable for outcomes, not feature output. You’ve tackled problems like fraud, trust & safety, or content/imagery at scale — or you’re excited to take on these challenges. You've used AI or automation to make operational or customer-facing products meaningfully better. You operate at Principal level through influence — you align engineers, designers, data scientists and operators around a strategy without needing to manage them. You make sharp, data-informed decisions and communicate complex trade-offs simply to any audience. You're energised working close to Engineering and to real operations — you'd rather be near the work than removed from it. You thrive in a fast, test-and-learn environment, and you're Bilingual in English. ## What we offer A rare chance to own two of the most important, unsolved problems at the world's leading pre-loved luxury platform — trust and desirability. Proximity to our Engineering team in HCMC — ship fast, learn fast, build together. The chance to shape how AI transforms authentication, fraud prevention and product imagery. An international, fast-paced, mission-driven team transforming fashion toward circularity. Competitive salary and bonus. A meaningful job with an impact on the way people consume fashion and promote sustainability Two days to help Project - reinforcing your activist journey and volunteer for an association Significant investment in your learning and growth Research indicates that people from underrepresented backgrounds—including women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized communities—often hesitate to apply for roles unless they meet every single requirement. At Vestiaire Collective, we believe that talent comes in many forms, and we're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Your unique perspective could be exactly what our team needs, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't tick every box.
