Making good on that mission means understanding how our products actually perform and where they can be better, and that's where you come in. We're looking for a Product Analyst to join the product team and own analytics and business intelligence across the Reflex worker app, retailer platform, and internal tools. You'll build the dashboards, metrics, and reporting the company runs on, and you'll stand up the product analytics (funnels, experimentation, the metrics that tell us what to build next) that guides where we go. It's a broad mandate with room to shape how analytics works at Reflex, and to grow your own scope and skillset as the function evolves. ## What You'll Do - Partner with product, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to turn business and product questions into clear, trustworthy analysis - Build and maintain the dashboards, metrics, and reporting that give the company visibility into how the business and our products are performing - Own visibility into our product funnels:  understand where and why users drop off, track engagement and retention, and connect what you see in user behavior to what the product should do next - Define and instrument product metrics, working with engineering to close tracking gaps and build clean, reusable data models that enable self-service analysis across the team - Own experimentation end to end: design tests, analyze results, and build the frameworks that turn them into confident launch decisions - Proactively investigate open-ended questions and hunt down anomalies and opportunities before anyone asks,  then turn what you find into recommendations the team can act on - Translate data into clear narratives and recommendations for stakeholders at every level, from working teams to leadership ## Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in an analytics, BI, data analyst, or similar role, ideally with exposure to consumer-facing products - Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with data to answer open-ended questions - Grounding in experiment design and statistical analysis — comfortable running A/B tests and interpreting results soundly - Experience analyzing conversion funnels, user journeys, and event-based behavioral data - Experience with the kinds of tools that make up a modern analytics stack — a BI/dashboarding tool (e.g. Metabase, Looker, Tableau), a data transformation layer (e.g. dbt), and a cloud data warehouse. We're not attached to specific tools; anything is learnable, and we care more about how you think than what you've used. - A track record of turning data into decisions and communicating findings clearly to non-technical audiences - Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience - Startup experience preferred ## About You - Self-starter: you are self directed when you need to be and excited to work in a fast paced, low ego environment - Hungry to grow: you see this role as a place to stretch — to take on more scope, sharpen new skills, and grow alongside the analytics function as it matures. - Thoughtful problem solver: You're a superstar at getting to the bottom of tricky problems. You are comfortable working through hard challenges, both alone and with others. - You like to “get it done”: you have well-rounded skills and experience to run projects end to end. - Pragmatic and business-oriented: “Business impact” isn't just a fancy phrase you hear team members talk about. You embrace the objective of the company, make tradeoffs relentlessly, and prioritize projects better than anyone. - Put users first: You think critically about the implications of what you build and how it shapes people's lives. - Excellent communicator: You communicate ideas clearly and engage thoughtfully with others. You love to tell stories using words and visuals. Nice to Haves - You have worked in an early stage start up. - You have worked in retail — or know someone that has. - You're curious about how AI is changing analytics work and like to stay current with where the tools are going. ## What We Offer - Meaningful equity at a stage where ownership can compound materially - Direct influence on the company’s long-term trajectory - Significant autonomy, trust, and access to leadership - Learning velocity across product, data, and systems that few roles can match - Full health benefits and a flexible, trust-based unlimited vacation policy. - Hybrid work environment with an energetic, collaborative office in downtown Austin, TX (relocation assistance is not available) - Compensation: $95K-105K depending on experience and skill Our customers and users come from all walks of life, and so do we. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds. If you share our values and our enthusiasm to improve retail, you'll find a home here at Reflex. Reflex is proud to value diversity at our company. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment. ## About Reflex ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Reflex provides an open-source, full-stack Python framework and cloud platform for building and deploying mission-critical enterprise applications entirely in Python. - **Entity Type**: Private (Startup – Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch, recent undisclosed funding round) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, USA - **Founded**: 2023 - **Founders**: Alek Petuskey, Nikhil Rao ## Core Business - **Primary industry**: Developer tools / Infrastructure / Artificial Intelligence - **Target customers**: Enterprise teams (30% of Fortune 500), internal tool builders, data scientists, analysts, and Python developers; B2B with a strong open-source community (B2D). - **Mission/purpose statement**: “Reflex unifies the fragmented enterprise app stack — frontend, backend, data, and deployment — into one Python-native platform.” ## Products & Services - **Reflex Framework** (Open‑source, Apache 2.0): A Python library (`pip install reflex`) that lets developers build interactive web apps using pure Python – frontend, state, backend logic, and data models. Includes 60+ built‑in React components, reactive state management, routing, auth, database management, and API endpoints. - **AI Builder**: A web tool (build.reflex.dev) that generates complete Reflex applications from natural language prompts. - **Reflex Cloud**: One‑command hosting platform (`reflex deploy`) with SSL, CDN, auto‑scaling, multi‑region support. - **Reflex Enterprise**: On‑premises / VPC deployment with SSO, audit logs, and dedicated support. ## Market Standing - **Valuation**: Not publicly disclosed (conflicting reports may be absent; YC profile states “just raised another round of funding” but amount not given). - **Key Metric** (Private startup): Total funding not specified (YC-backed; additional round raised recently). Community metrics: 28,000+ GitHub stars (as of YC update), 1,000,000+ apps built, used inside 30% of Fortune 500 companies. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: Y Combinator (Winter 2023 batch); primary partner Jared Friedman. - **Growth Signals**: Rapid community growth; used by Fortune 500 companies for internal tools; expanding AI‑builder capabilities; MCP integration for agentic coding; team size of 10 (as of YC listing) and actively hiring. ## Competitive Advantages - **Unified Python stack**: Replaces the need to stitch together React, FastAPI, Airflow, auth, and deployment – all in one Python codebase. - **AI‑native**: Purpose‑built for AI agents (MCP integration); every Reflex app automatically exposes an MCP, enabling agents to interact via API without browser automation. - **Open‑source with production ceiling**: Apache 2.0 license, but the platform scales to critical enterprise use cases (on‑prem, VPC, SSO, audit logs). - **Developer experience**: No page reloads, no callback nesting; reactive state management that compiles to a React frontend while staying pure Python. ## Strategic Focus - Replacing the fragmented enterprise application stack with a unified platform. - Deepening AI capabilities (agentic coding, MCP) to serve both human developers and AI agents. - Expanding enterprise adoption (Reflex Cloud, Enterprise, and on‑prem deployments). - Growing the open‑source community and ecosystem (wrapping any React library, integrating with existing Python libraries). ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: “Work with people who are genuinely passionate about improving the web.” Founding team includes open‑source maintainers, top‑ranked competitive programmers/IOI medalists, and former founding team members from dev tool unicorns. - **Growth trajectory**: Extremely fast community growth (1M+ apps built, 28K GitHub stars) and a recently closed funding round – early stage with significant upside. - **Location & policy**: San Francisco (office/hybrid expected). Equity grants are offered (e.g., 0.05%–0.50% range for engineering roles). - **Notable perks**: High degree of ownership; work on the open‑source framework, cloud infrastructure, and AI tooling; direct impact on product direction. ## Sources 1.
