We turn customer capture data into real-fidelity replicas with deterministic multi-sensor simulation running on top. The largest autonomy programs in the world use our products to validate perception at the scale that safety demands. They are a Series B company backed by March Capital, Foundry Group, Costanoa Ventures, Toyota Ventures, and others. Their team includes engineers from Waymo, Cruise, Apple, NVIDIA, and Google. They are fully remote and growing fast. How long has the company been operating? 2017 Total company headcount: 50+ Parallel's Mission Our mission is to enable our customers to bring autonomy and physical AI to the world faster and safer. We believe physical AI and autonomy have the power to create a safer and more productive world, and we are building the simulation infrastructure to make that future real. Our high-fidelity, fully controllable, software-in-the-loop sensor simulation products give the leaders in autonomous driving, drone delivery, eVTOL, robotics, and beyond the realism, accuracy, and confidence they need to test and validate their systems at scale. In autonomy and physical AI, there is no margin for error. ## The Role As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our Chief Product Officer to manage Parallel Domain’s simulation and neural reconstruction products. This role combines hands-on product management, customer interaction and strategic product roadmapping with highly technical work across AI development, simulation, programming and autonomy. You will spend significant time with customers understanding how they use simulation to accelerate autonomous-system development, then translate those needs into scalable product capabilities. We are looking for someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, solving complex technical problems and turning customer needs into winning products. ## What You'll Do - Drive strategy and execution for our core products, from customer discovery and roadmap definition through launch, adoption and measurable business impact. - Develop a deep understanding of workflows across autonomy, robotics, computer vision and simulation teams. - Contribute to quarterly roadmap planning across Product and Engineering. - Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, workflow efficiency, data-generation throughput, scenario coverage, model performance, platform reliability and revenue impact. - Translate complex technical and customer needs into product direction while distinguishing one-off requests from broader platform opportunities. - Communicate priorities, experiments, roadmaps and decisions across technical teams and executive stakeholders. - Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous technical problems. - Represent the customer internally with Engineering and leadership. - Support launches through documentation, demos, sales materials, release notes and internal training. - Stay current on developments in autonomy, robotics, synthetic data and AI infrastructure. - Travel to customer sites to understand workflows and product needs. ## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of product management experience with platform or infrastructure products, ideally APIs. - Experience building B2B enterprise products. - Working knowledge of machine-learning frameworks, embodied AI development and simulation. - Proficiency with Python. - Strong ownership mentality and experience taking products from zero through initial release and continued development. - Ability to work effectively across functions and navigate resource and priority tradeoffs. - Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Comfort operating in ambiguous, open-ended environments. - Willingness to travel and spend time with customers. Strong Signals - 2+ years in software development, engineering or another technical role. - Computer science, engineering or related degree. - Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Account Manager or Customer Engineering Lead at a simulation, developer-tools or autonomous-systems company. - Familiarity with closed-loop simulation, scenario-based testing or sensor-in-the-loop workflows. Salary range depending on experience: US - $130,000 - $180,000 Canada - CAD$125,000 - CAD$180,000 ## About Parallel Domain ## Company Overview - **One-liner**: Parallel Domain provides production-grade sensor simulation and reconstruction software that enables autonomous systems to test and validate perception stacks at scale using high-fidelity digital twins. - **Entity Type**: Private (Series B, total funding $43.9M) - **Headquarters**: San Francisco, California, United States - **Founded**: 2017 - **Founders**: Kevin McNamara (Founder, Chief Product Officer) ## Core Business - **Primary industry/industries**: Autonomous driving, drone delivery, eVTOL, robotics – simulation software for perception testing. - **Target customers**: Enterprise autonomy teams at OEMs, mobility companies, and robotics firms (B2B, Enterprise). - **Mission or purpose**: “Bridging the gap between simulation and the real world, ensuring autonomous systems perform flawlessly when it counts most.” ## Products & Services - **PD Replica**: Generates near pixel-perfect neural reconstructions from real-world drive or flight logs (camera, lidar, GPS). Output includes world physics, HD maps, scene segmentation, dynamic agent reconstruction, and object insertion. Used for deterministic, closed-loop and open-loop testing. - **Sensor Simulation API**: Software-in-the-loop simulation for camera, lidar, and radar. Fully controllable, deterministic, and integrable with CI/CD pipelines. Supports multi-sensor configurations across geographies, weather, and lighting. - **Data Lab** (launched 2023): Self-serve API for synthetic data generation, allowing teams to create variations of scenes and test edge cases that real-world collection cannot reliably produce. ## Market Standing - **Valuation/Market Cap**: $16.2M (most recent disclosed valuation per GetLatka, 2025/2026). - **Key Metric**: Annual Revenue ~$5M – $5.4M (2025); Total Funding $43.9M. - **Notable Investors/Partners**: March Capital (led Series B), Foundry Group (led Series A), Costanoa Ventures, Ubiquity Ventures (seed). - **Growth Signals**: +2% headcount growth YoY (41 employees as of 2026); active job postings increasing +25% YoY; expanding into new verticals (aviation, warehouse robotics); launch of PD Replica (2024) and Data Lab (2023) showing product innovation. ## Competitive Advantages - **Production-ready fidelity**: Measurable sim-to-real gap reports that quantify how closely a replica matches the original scene – not just visual but auditable for regulatory readiness. - **Deterministic multi-sensor simulation**: Camera, lidar, and radar in a single platform, with full control over trajectories, lighting, and weather. - **Works with messy fleet data**: Ingests imperfect, real-world capture logs and converts them into reusable simulation assets. - **Integration-first**: API-driven, compatible with existing autonomy stacks and CI/CD pipelines. ## Strategic Focus - Scaling reconstruction capabilities to turn every mile driven into a reusable simulation asset. - Expanding industry reach beyond automotive into drone delivery, eVTOL, and warehouse robotics. - Deepening partnerships with OEMs and enterprise customers to embed simulation into their development lifecycle. - Continuing to invest in R&D for neural reconstruction and deterministic sensor modeling. ## Why Work Here - **Culture**: Mission-driven team working on critical safety technology for autonomous systems. Emphasis on “production-grade” quality and measurable trust. - **Work model**: Remote-first with offices in San Francisco (HQ), Vancouver, Karlsruhe, and Palo Alto. Many roles are remote-friendly (e.g., Senior Linux Graphics Engineer, Senior SRE). - **Engineering focus**: Strong engineering team (48% technical staff), with talent from EA, Shopify, Scale AI, Amazon, and Meta. Open roles include Director of Engineering (Simulation & Rendering), Senior SRE, Principal Technical Artist, and Product Manager. - **Growth opportunities**: Company is still relatively small (~41-49 people) with increasing headcount, offering ownership and impact. Recent funding and product launches signal momentum. - **Perks**: Not explicitly listed, but distributed team across 5 countries suggests flexibility, and the technical stack (C++, graphics, ML, sensor simulation) is cutting-edge. ## Sources 1.
